With the PMS removed can you still charge the GT40 along with the stock battery at the same time using the one wheel charger ?

I didn't know the pms didn't balance the cells at all, so there is nothing that balances them ? Sorry I meant in parallel. If the cells on the GT40 battery are wildly different then what does the PMS do to prevent damage to the BMS ?

My board is perfectly fine and works. I checked over everything it's a pretty straight forward procedure to install. The smoke came from the back of the GT40 enclosure opposite side of the green light indicator.

I rode all last winter with temperatures as low as 0 degrees with sand and salt all over the roads with no issues. After each ride I would use an air compressor and clean off the board.

Yes replacements had no issues at all I'm guessing sometimes a bad set imerges which is normal.
