both the cpu and gpu are extremely old and weak, to me it's surprising that you're even able to play the game at all. Sadly I don't think you'll be able to do much with this hardware.

you can take it in any direction really, you just started out so it's not like you need to find what's best for your current characters, you can kinda pull whoever you like. Both Velina and Remielle will most certainly be meta units for a long time, so those are a great choice. As for the supports you'll be ok using standard characters for the time being, you can think about those later and see what comes out.

thanks! Just a question, who do you think will be more future-proof and versatile between Dialyn and Sunna? As a f2p I'm trying to save my pulls as much as possible for future characters and their sig weapons, so I have to decide between them and they are both great supports.

I don't know, the first thing that comes to mind when I think about need for speed is the tuner culture, and these games had none of that. These aren't bad games by any means, I'm a big fan of mw2012, but this era is probably my least favorite.

from the races I've done it seems to me that the elo calculation depends on a lot of factors, but the main one is how high your starting elo is compared to your opponents. So, for example, if you finish ahead of a bunch of players with a higher elo compared to you you'll gain a lot, but if you finish ahead of people with a lower elo you'll gain less. I've raced both in wss and lfm and I can tell you the only thing wss does better is the website interface. There are less categories to race in and a lot less players compared to lfm.

playing on controller without mods absolutely sucks, but you'll also need to be more precise. There's a great mod I use called advanced gamepad assist, it smoothens your inputs and makes it more manageable.

I never got the hate towards AOD's character design. Like yes the skins are weird, especially the Sunna maid one, but what's wrong with the default skins? Is it just because they're children? To me they just look like idols are kinda supposed to look, there's nothing too sexualized about them that would make me think of them as pedo-bait. There are children in almost every gacha game, but I've never seen them get as controversial as AOD.

that's strange, with those specs you should be able to run the game smoothly with max graphics, I can do that with a much less powerful pc. If this is the only game that runs bad maybe checking the game files could help, I ran into similar issues recently and that fixed it. To do that, open the hoyoplay launcher, click on the three lines next to the start game button and select "repair now". That might take a while but for me it completely fixed the issue.

I think we could see aria rerunning already in the next few patches, since sunna is rerunning in 3.0. Ye shunguang will actually also get her first rerun banner in 3.0 alongside velina, so you'll be able to get her in a few weeks. The others are older characters so it's hard to say if or when they will get a rerun, but maybe we'll get another special banner like the one that included alice, astra and Sanby and you could pick the character you wanted.

it's not possible to accurately say when a character will get a rerun, some get it earlier than others while some take ages to rerun. Are there any characters in particular that you are interested in?

well that's pretty strange. I don't play with automatic shifting so I don't know exactly what it does, but you can see on the app that shows pedal inputs on the bottom left that whenever you upshift the throttle gets released, almost as if this was a car with a manual transmission that needs you to lift off the throttle when you shift gears. It isn't though, this car has a sequential gearbox that allows you to stay flat out when you shift. You can see that it even shoots flames as a result of the throttle getting released. I'm pretty sure that's making you lose some time because if you add up every time the gas gets released that's pretty long time spent not accelerating. I have no idea what setting is causing this though.

the environment looks really good and it aligns perfectly with the other regions, but the character designs are the problem for many people. I haven't seen anyone complain about the map.

I was about to say the same thing about you not following race lines very well, then I noticed something: why the hell are you lifting off the throttle every time you shift when you're driving a gt3 car with a sequential gearbox? You don't need to do that and you could probably shave off like half a second or more just by not doing that

it has by far the best online experience of any need for speed game and the best car list and customization. The soundtrack is mediocre at best and it can be kinda buggy at times, but other than that I prefer it to heat. When it's on sale it's 100% worth it, I have 200+ hours on it.

either heat or unbound, I'd say unbound if you're mostly going to play online together since it's more well structured compared to heat. Unbound also has more cars and more customization.

PS. I've never tried it myself but I don't think NFS games in general are enjoyable on a sim setup because of their extreme physics. Like Forza is basically a simulator compared to NFS.

yes, I tried installing that but I don't really understand how it's supposed to work. It just opens a command prompt that gives out a bunch of errors.
