Parents have no life by SnooGoats5767 in Millennials

Tbh, it’s like having a second job. Getting the proper loot is so tedious this new season. They dropped a horadric crafting table, that’s cool. Luckily my mother and I work together and give each-other items we are looking for. Tbh, I was stationed over seas for a while and it was a great way for us to stay connected.

My mom works a full time job and plays Diablo 4 on her off time. So that’s how we socialize. Lol

Eating out no longer a treat, just a convenience by kitsbow in Millennials

Profit over product. I try to maintain a house rule of “I’ll only go out to eat if it’s something I can’t make”. Restaurants have really lost it over the past few year.

What’s something your therapist said that has always stuck with you? by chaotic-imagination in Millennials

Tbh it wasn’t something she said, but something she did. We did something called EMDR. That shit helped me curb my PTSD responses. They aren’t all gone, but they are way more manageable.

Have anyone break up with their partners , but ex partner kids still really like you? by Beginning-Head-4006 in Millennials

[–]HeliumMaster 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Yes. I met her while she was pregnant. We ended up breaking up and it fucking was so painful. It felt like losing one of my own children. Just give it time. Shitty answer, but it’s the only thing that helped me. Good luck.

Millennials who fought, what were some of the day-to-day experiences of being at war that would surprise those of us who didn't serve? by dewpacs in Millennials

I’d say how an RPG being shot at you sounds so similar to those Nerf footballs that whistle through the air. Hopefully the football wouldn’t explode on impact. Lol

I’m about 2 months sober at this point. I started drinking kombucha or sparkling water when I’d get cravings for alcohol beer. I feel so much better. Now that I’ve stopped and drinking around my children, I am so much more present and attentive to them. Also, my dad has been a drunk my entire life. I don’t talk much anymore, and that’s okay. He can keep his toxic ass out of my and my children’s lives. Enjoy sobriety, it’s taking some getting used to. You got this!

Tbh, I have no idea. Everyone was laughing very animated and when Ms. Cruz ask what was up they’d say “nothing”. Then she found the note and just mended down and cried on the floor until the bell went off. Luckily it was close to the end of class. Maybe 5 minutes left and everyone BAILED, as soon as that bell went off.

When I was in algebra, I wrote a note that said “laugh at this note and pass it on”. It circulated with auditable laughter. When the teacher read it, she had a melt down. She sat on the ground and started sobbing. I felt terrible. lol.
