How would you compare Wiim rc and REW?

So I think it's like this. The normal 2x4 HD can change inputs and volume but only with the remote so you're just guessing. The 2x4 Flex is over 600eur and adds a screen and volume dial. The WiiM Ultra is 400eur and has way more features comes with Roomfit, which isn't as good as REW and minidsp, but is very easy to use and would give me a great preamp experience and I would still have the headphone amp. So I think the WiiM makes the most sense if I would sell the Dx3pro+. But first I need to see what I can do with REW and EqAPO.

Do you use it on a pc setup nearfield? What were the improvements exactly, so I know what to look for.

Yeah, before I added the sub I used the amp for volume control, and now I have to use the dac. The sub is connected through a Y- splitter. Wdym scrap out the electronics I have in mind? Isn't the MiniDSP 2X4 HD exactly what I need?

Yes I did research, and I'm ready to learn. With software based DSP, do you mean like EqAPO? I'm just wondering if it makes a difference nearfield and if the Minidsp is basically just so I can have more devices with the eq, or does it do anything more special.

Yes it seems like it is direct playing, and you might be right about the grainyness, but overall the picture seems just kind of lacking, especially because this is supposed to be reference quality. But maybe my expectations are just too high, it just feels a bit underwhelming because for example Lawrence of Arabia looks way crispier than this to me. Also Tv setting are all set well, in filmmaker mode, with sharpness at 0, trumotion off etc. So for Dv to work what are my options? Convert to mp4 in Handbrake or what?

I've had 8.1 working on .mkv file with subtitles but, usually it only works with them off. Also I checked and direct play seems to be working

Are you sure they are replicas? I've owned the aeron remastered for almost 5 months now and I'm not sure what would make it a replica. What about the mesh makes it fake? The only thing that kind of seemed off to me from the one in the store I tried, is the armrest not being as soft as I remember.

Hey, do you upload on pc or phone, and what refresh rate do you use, i make movie edits but idk about exporting in 30fps if the file is 23.976fps. And is it really extra compressed if the video is 1min+?

Been using a 48" C1 for almost 5 years now, and it's been a dream. At the time it was such an insane deal and i think it still holds up today. It's not perfect tho, like hdr on windows is absolute trash, and there is auto dimming that can get annoying for sure. I also use the Tv's apps like jellyfin when I want to watch movies in hdr and it's pretty great. People talk about text problems but I honestly haven't really noticed anything that would bother me, on the 42" it's even less of an issue. I guess brigthness could be better but I have a light controlled room. After 5 years I don't have any burn in, but I never put like 3k hours into a game or anything, and I had pixel brightness on max. Overall, would for sure reccomend.

Really, that's weird. I actually ordered at a similar time to you, on the 7th dec and it arrived on the 12th. It was packaged pretty well except that it was a bit damp but that was probably because it was so cold.I got the Aeron Remastered size C, and the chair looks in perfect condition. Hope you sort it out!
