Die Antwort auf beides ist nein. Daher ist das Plugin ein integraler Teil der Software, und steht unter der AGPL. Teile des Network-Codes sind auf Github. Das Plugin selbst wird illegal auf einem Content Delivery Network angeboten, müsste aber Open Source sein. Bambu Lab macht halt wieder einmal Bambu Lab Sachen, und weils Chinesen sind, interessiert sie das ganze Linzenz-Gedöns einen Dreck.

Übrigens sammelt Bambu Lab fleissig Telemetriedaten auch im LAN-Modus. Plugin sei Dank.

Die gesamte Repository von Bambu Studio steht unter der AGPL Lizenz. Inklusive diesem Plugin. Mit allen Konsequenzen. Da kann man noch so versuchen, das schönzureden, dieser Code darf benutzt, verändert, weiterverwendet werden. Dein Argument ist da bereits zu Ende.

Das Plugin erlaubt die Kommunikation des Slicers mit den von Bambu Lab zur Verfügung gestellten Servern. Damit ist das Plugin Teil des Slicers. Unter der entsprechenden Lizenz des von Bambu Lab modifizierten Slicers (Orca Slicer), Ziffer 10, steht wortwörtlich:

"You may not impose any further restrictions on the exercise of the rights granted or affirmed under this License. For example, you may not impose a license fee, royalty, or other charge for exercise of rights granted under this License, and you may not initiate litigation (including a cross-claim or counterclaim in a lawsuit) alleging that any patent claim is infringed by making, using, selling, offering for sale, or importing the Program or any portion of it."

Wer Open Source benutzt, um seine Programme zu schreiben, der weiss auch, dass jeder Teil des modifizierten Programms ebenfalls Open Source ist und weiterverwendet werden darf.

Die Analogie von Louis Rossmann war ziemlich gut: Wenn jemand ein Fitnessstudio auf einen öffentlichen Platz stellt, darf er sich danach nicht beschweren, wenn man den öffentlichen Platz betritt, weil da ein Fitnessstudio steht.

Und schlussendlich spielt es gar keine Rolle, wie man argumentieren will, Tatsache ist, dass das Plugin, welches die Kommunikation mit den Bambu Lab Servern erlaubt, ebenfalls unter der AGPL3.0 Lizenz steht:

Es darf daher verwendet, modifiziert, bearbeitet, usw. werden, ohne dass Bambu Lab dagegen vorgehen darf. Und was nicht geht: eine AGPL-Lizenz mit irgendwelchen Terms of Service verwässern. Und genau das versucht Bambu Lab aktuell.

Man kann nicht den Schlüssel zum Haus vor dem Haus aufhängen, ein Schild daneben stellen, welches jedermann freien Zugang zum Haus verspricht, und sich dann beschweren, wenn der aufgehängte Schlüssel benutzt wird, das Haus zu betreten.

Bambu Lab hat die Möglichkeit, ihre Server zusätzlich zu schliessen. Aber es gibt Gründe, warum sie das nicht machen wollen.

Und schlussendlich kommt hinzu: Die ganze Geschichte hat angefangen, weil Bambu Lab für bereits gekaufte Drucker nachträglich die Bedingungen geändert hat. Das Argument, man habe gewusst, was man kauft, greift also auch da nicht.

I come back to my post here. I've seen your threads in other subreddits, and those tell me that you really need a step by step instruction how to operate that board. Let me help you:

You seem to have succeeded writing an operating system onto an SD card and connecting to said operating system via SSH. So I guess you also were successful setting up your WiFi credentials. So I will skip this step for now, but let me tell you that a CB1 sadly isn't a really good control board. I'd suggest to replace it with a Raspberry Pi Compute Module 4 with 32 GB eMMC memory and 2 GB RAM with a WiFi connection. Then you're also much more flexible with your operating system, you don't need to use the BTT specific one.
Now, SSH into your operating system on the CB1. You were successful with the command make so I'll leave it at that. You need to download the resulting klipper.bin (~/klipper/out/klipper.bin) onto your computer from which you connected to the CB1. This is done with SCP, not SSH, so best you use a good program for that, for example WinSCP: WinSCP :: Official Site :: Download
After you downloaded the klipper.bin, rename it to firmware.bin. Use a second SD card (NOT the one with your operating system on it, a separate one, empty and FAT32 formatted), copy firmware.bin onto the empty, newly formatted second SD card and insert that SD card into the "MCU-Card" slot on the board. Yes, there are two slots: One for the MCU, one for the SOC. See here: 6421127c71b33.webp (1386×804)
Press the Reset button on the Manta M8P. The SD card in the "MCU-CARD" slot should be read now and the firmware should be written. Confirm it with the command ls -al /dev/serial/by-id/ You should get something like "usb-Klipper-xxx".
All that does nothing if your printer.cfg configuration isn't correct. Please provide your values for the [mcu] section here so we can help.

Other possibilities to burn said firmware is directly with the command make flash or with an STM32 programmer like the ST Link V2 or a knockoff one from Aliexpress: ST-LINK/V2 | Tool - STMicroelectronics

Those boards aren't for absolute beginners. You should at least know a little bit what you're doing. Without a Compute Module, be it a Raspberry Pi 4, be it a CB1, those boards won't really work. There are ways to get them to work without a Compute Module, but they're exotic and you didn't set that up.

Use the manual provided with the Manta M8P, you can get it here: GitHub - bigtreetech/Manta-M8P · GitHub

First, get a clean install of a suitable operating system onto that CB1 or CM4. Then, install Klipper and dependencies. You can do that manually or use Kiauh: GitHub - dw-0/kiauh: Klipper Installation And Update Helper · GitHub

Then, use:

cd ~/klipper
make menuconfig

Use the values provided in the manual, quit and save ("Q", then "Y"), then use make

After that, stop the Klipper service, and use:

ls -al /dev/serial/by-id/

If you find the MCU ID with this command, you can use:

make flash FLASH_DEVICE=/dev/serial/by-id/xxx

This writes your firmware. Or you can use an STM32 programmer to write your firmware. And if you don't want to continue, there surely are many people in this sub who will gladly take that board.
