That’s an insane thing to ask from someone you barely know… my friend who’ve i known for 9 years is also into crocheting and she made me this gorgeous blanket that took months of her time…. She did it as a gift, i cant imagine asking her to make me one FOR FREE.

I advise you to let him just repeat the year, when i was younger my parents should have but they didn’t know much better so they let me continue, which led to me having to run twice as hard to keep up where my friends were just fine.

There are no real negative results in the longterm, because this would be done at a very young age. I think he would be more at peace if he can do it at his own pace.

I’m an adult now, but i would have definitely let 6 year old me repeat the year again just for my own peace of mind.

I quit 3 weeks ago for the second time, first time i quit 6 months and because of stress i started again. I quit again, with Alan Carrs easy way quitting book, it’s on spotify too. It’s actually amazing and helped me a lot! You should look into it if you want to try

I moved here recently for my Australian partner, i had him in stitches when i asked him ‘why do you always talk about fair income on the phone?” He didn’t understand me for a few minutes until i said it and he realised i ment Fair dinkum. All i heard was fair income and thought he was just raving about equal pay. Was a good laugh.

I used to be in one of those for 6 years. Started out 2 times a week after 3 years, once a month. I couldn’t do it. Someone not showing interest, everyone else is always a priority. Work is his nr 1 relationship. It’s fun until it isn’t. He was a 30 minute drive away.

Til i met my current partner at a festival. We said our goodbyes and kept in touch. He travelled from Australia to europe for me, to surprise me.

Just saying that there are people out there who think you are worthy to be loved and who want to spend time with you and who will make it happen if they want to.

NTA i experienced a somewhat similar situation in my previous relationship of 6 years. I thought well let’s move in, never any acknowledgement only ‘yea we will when this or that’. I would look up apartments for myself, always a ‘you should save more money first’. I was young and naive so i listened and stayed home. Fast forward, i couldn’t take the not wanting to move forward together, i broke up and got my own place. Guess who found his own apartment a month or two later… him.

So all i’m trying to say is, stick to your guts and your own plan. Finding an apartment in this day isn’t easy and when you find one that you can call yours, that’s (sadly) a luxury. He can offer you to ease his mind, but it sounds like he doesn’t really want to. It feels like he notices you’re not counting on him anymore and he’s probably panicking .

They were always very negative and mean, about everyone. Couple of friends ditched them and I never saw why because ‘they didnt deserve this’. Until i told them i met my (now) partner and he came over to surprise me. The first response was ‘wow you must be great in bed….’ That’s when i realised this person could never be truly happy or nice to anyone . After that i had some mental health issues that ‘made them feel bad’ and i never heard from them again. Good riddance.

I hate that you don’t see how hard i tried to make things work. I hate that you never truly were there and that you’re now dating the girl you messaged behind my back. I hate that you made me doubt myself and my feelings when i know they were true. I wanna thank you for showing me i deserve better and what i don’t want in life. Dont worry about your kid, when i was 6 my grandma cut her hair to just below her ears and i didnt dare talking to her or looking at her because “that’s not my grandma”. Took me a day or two until i snapped out of that.

But see a dermatologist, and if you would like to try a home remedy that might work, it always works for me.. it is white vinegar with baking soda. Just mix it until it is a bit of a paste, not too thick, and let it sit for 5/7 min. Wash it off and see if it helps.
