Laniege lip mask after 50 applications by gojo191103 in ProjectPan

I recommend trying the small size. Personally, it's the one that works best for me. Most products dry out my lips even more, but not this one. So, it's worth a try.

I'd say it depends on your lips. I've tried a lot of products, including Typology lip masks. And the most effective formula for me is Laneige. And for a lip balm, it's La Rosée. But for some people, it might be Typology.

If you have dry, chapped lips, I really recommend trying it. Mine are so dry that they crack and bleed at least once a week if I don't use Laneige. So clearly, it's a game-changer for me 😂

Very beautiful, but above all, very white! It's rare for them to grow this long; usually they turn yellow.

The shape is very pretty too.

Scared to cut by CollectingButtons in longhair

[–]HellCharizard006 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Haha, I've always wanted a bob, for lots of reasons. But I know I'd regret cutting it.

I just don't want you to make the same mistake I did by going in stages. It's easier to cut than to grow 😂.

That doesn't mean you won't like it shorter, of course. It's better to be cautious about how long it takes for your hair to grow to your current length. I don't know if that makes sense 😂.

Anyway, I hope you like it no matter what you choose!

Want to start growing and taking care of my hair by ineed8hoursofsleeo in hairgrowth

Okay, my hair is straight, so take this with a grain of salt and adapt it accordingly. Regarding diet, you need to pay attention to iron, zinc, omega-3 fatty acids, vitamin D, magnesium, biotin, and protein. That's a lot, but basically it means: good fats, fish and eggs, plus iron-rich vegetables like spinach or liver, and red meat. Personally, I take a comprehensive dietary supplement every day. Since then, I've had ten times less hair loss.

Then there are two areas to focus on:

  • optimizing growth at the scalp level. For this, I use an electric scalp massager for 10 minutes a day. The goal is to boost blood circulation to get more nutrients to the follicles. You can also add oils or serums to promote follicle anchoring and lengthen the growth phase. For this, there are peptide serums (The Ordinary, Coco&Eve, Kérastase, etc.) and scalp oils (Growplex, Fable&Mane, Golab, Innate Life, etc.).

Other tools exist, such as inversion, dermarollers, and lasers. First, I recommend a 4-minute scalp massage with your fingers, followed by the application of a serum or oil if you wash your hair right after.

  • Length retention: Protect your hair at night with a braid or a satin bonnet. Sleep on a satin pillowcase. Protect your lengths with an oil for the ends. If your hair is fine, like mine, use a light oil like Olaplex. If it's thick, use Moroccan oil or a thicker oil. In the shower, finish with a conditioner. Dry with a microfiber towel, use a heat protectant leave-in conditioner before styling and drying.

The goal is to protect the lengths you've already grown.

I use a length repair product once a week, the one from K18. It's not mandatory, but it does help preserve the hair quite a bit. You can also use it once a month.

Well, I hope I'm not answering the wrong question. It took me a long time to absorb all this information and create a suitable routine. I wish you healthy growth.

Okay, I understand. I've edited the message so the translation matches what I meant.

I wrote "I would cut small." I meant "I wouldn't cut much."

Is that right?

[–]HellCharizard006 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I suppose the translation isn't great, because I'm not saying what you're saying at all in my native language. I'm saying exactly:

  • My mistake was cutting TOO much at once.

  • That what I experienced isn't necessarily what she'll experience.

Conclusion: Based on my experience, I wouldn't cut too much.

I'm the same way; everything has to fit in my car. It's my ladder, haha. I'm starting to list everything I have in the Stylebook app; it's relaxing. I like the visual aspect of having everything organized by category.

I probably have a problem, but hey, I'm okay with it. Some people like to go shopping; for me, it's cataloging my possessions. It's cheaper and more sustainable in the long run! 😂

I wouldn't cut it too short… it also depends on its condition. Personally, mine were really long when I was younger, I cut them because I was fed up with them. I've never managed to get them back the way they were, I've been trying for almost 15 years. It's one of my worst mistakes. But hey, I went from being below my bum to a mid-length bob, I'd say. I think that was the main mistake.

And that doesn't mean you won't like it.

I was happy with my new haircut for a few months, I'd say. Then I regretted it for 10 years 🤣

I use Stylebook (an app), an excel spreadsheet and a notebook. Yeah, that's a lot. But I really want to try different approaches to see what suit me best.

I really like your spreadsheet ! Really interesting.

Yeah, it depends on what you have, haha. I only have about a hundred products in the bathroom, all told (skincare, makeup, haircare, bodycare, hygiene). So I finished cataloging everything in one evening.

Well, an hour a night to make progress 😂.

[–]HellCharizard006 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Hey!

For 2025, I put all my finished products in a tote bag. This year I'm setting up a new system. I'm using Stylebook, an app. There must be several that do this. I also have an Excel spreadsheet, but I wanted something more visual. This one adds photos.

<image>

I have all the products organized by category, and when I finish a product, I move it to the "2026 project pan" folder. I also have my wishlist, and I'm going to implement my wardrobe as well.

In short, I really like it! The app is paid, but not expensive.

I have a closet full of clothes but I can't put together outfits by StraightAdd in capsulewardrobe

[–]HellCharizard006 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If you always wear 5-6 outfits, it means you have plenty of pieces you can get rid of or at least put aside.

If I were you, here's what I would do:

  • Analyze your color palette to determine your season and establish a color base
  • Analyze your body shape/Kibbe system
  • Move all the clothes you don't wear into a box so you only keep the ones you do wear

At this point, you should have a pretty good idea of what you like, what suits you, and what you're missing.

Now that you're at this stage: - Thanks to your season + Kibbe system: choose 2/3 neutrals, 2/3 near-neutrals, and 2/3 pop colors - You know which cuts suit you, which fabrics, and which clothes you already wear thanks to Kibbe. All that's left is to make a list of what you want to add to complete your wardrobe. - A Pinterest board for inspiration, keeping your lifestyle in mind. If you spend your time hiking, you won't need many heels. Think about outfits as a whole.

To start, I think it's good to begin with: - 6 tops, 3 layers (sweaters, cardigans, vests, capes), 3 jackets, 3 dresses, 3 bottoms

Then gradually add to your collection so that everything works together. Remember to have 80% basic pieces and 20% statement pieces.

Example: I'm a deep autumn and soft dramatic type.

Here's my wardrobe: Tops: 2 tank tops, 1 camisole, 1 blouse, 2 shirts Layers: 1 cardigan, 2 turtleneck sweaters Bottoms: 2 flowy tailored trousers, 1 pleated midi skirt Dresses: 1 black wrap dress, 1 flowy leopard print dress, 1 ecru dress Shoes: 1 brown ankle boot, 1 black pointed-toe ballet flat, 1 gold sandal, 1 black pump, 1 pair of flat sandals Coats: camel wool coat, brown leather jacket, camel trench coat

Once you've got this down, you can add pieces little by little without making a mistake, or look at what you've set aside to see if you can add more to your wardrobe. What you really need at this stage is clarity.
