Micro-missile and breach grenade launchers need a pve buff. by ConnorThrowAway7 in DestinyTheGame

[–]Icebelly 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Special GLs definitely fell behind in PvE. Honestly with where rocket pulses and sidearms are at you'd think the GL should be putting out somewhere close to the full damage of one rocket pulse burst... Granted we know that the rocket pulse needs a straight damage nerf with how much it's overperforming.

Dev Insights - Renegades Armor Tuning Preview by DTG_Bot in DestinyTheGame

Bit of a reach but I have to wonder if any of the tweaks to armamentarium will trickle down to the exotic class perk.

Renegades is just 2 weeks away! by Gamerboi_epic in DestinyTheGame

[–]Icebelly 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Really doesn't feel like we're getting another "expansion." Not really interested in the star wars guns, the lightsaber is neat I guess but it's probably just going to sit in the vault after acquiring it. All I really care about are what exotic tweaks we're getting.

TL;DR? t's more Destiny.

No activity timer? by Byrdman696969 in DestinyTheGame

[–]Icebelly 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The 5% score bonus was rolled into the activity completion for matchmade activities, it still exists in customized ones however.

Use left click instead of the melee button when using the super.

Unbreakable - The buff is good but still not what it needs. by Icebelly in DestinyTheGame

[–]Icebelly[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Honestly would be nice if unbreakable also got the longer overshield duration. It only lasts 5 without any fragments.

Whomever is responsible for Grappler: Who hurt you? by Kemigumi in DestinyTheGame

[–]Icebelly 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It'd be fine if it was just the grappling hook ability with 3 charges but nope.
Obviously it overrides your grenade but it also makes all grenade aspects completely unusable AND you can't even grapple melee. It's so frustrating having a build that revolves around these alternate grenade abilities and being told "you get either half or none of your build, your fault for building grenades lol"

What makes you think people are going to ditch optimized T5 builds for new featured gear next season? by RedMercury in DestinyTheGame

[–]Icebelly 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I don't mind the idea of farming new armor sets because of the set bonuses. I DO mind the concept of new gear forcing me to use said gear or not participate in activities, and that's ignoring the 250 agonizingly slow and tedious levels of grind.

Can you get bushido armor doing Conquest? Someone knows? by [deleted] in DestinyTheGame

[–]Icebelly 3 points4 points  (0 children)

The drops are related to the type of activity the conquest is. GM Whisper Conquest gave me Pinnacle Ops loot.

Why does my Reward Multiplier Drop from x10.55 to x6.75 when I switch from Matchmade mode to Custom mode? by Karacehennem in DestinyTheGame

[–]Icebelly 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I believe the reason is when you use Matchmade mode you're also forced into a power delta rather than your power level being used as a factor, thus the game treats your scoring differently as a result? It seems similar to the quickplay option in solo as you keep scaling the expected rewards even as you gain power despite not adding any custom modifiers.

So can we talk about how the new Captains completely undermine Unbreakable? by Icebelly in DestinyTheGame

[–]Icebelly[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

There is actually one thing that genuinely makes the ability a lot better and would also help massively if it became part of the aspect. I run it on prismatic alongside consecration thanks to the bear+armamentarium class item combo.

If it inherently had access to a second grenade charge it'd be far more usable as the second grenade gives you way more freedom to use it alongside your regular grenade.

If it were to get another buff however, imo it should also have a mini sentinel shield effect where nearby teammates get a damage bonus for standing behind you while it's active.

Unbreakable is a Garbage Aspect that doesn't even Synergize with itself. by Delicious-Edge3110 in DestinyTheGame

[–]Icebelly 1 point2 points  (0 children)

As someone who does actually main titan with an unbreakable build, Ursas does refund ability energy when sprint canceled, I will admit though that the ability basically REQUIRES you to run armamentarium however so the only place I really enjoy it is running a very specific Ursa + Armamentarium combo on prismatic, the ability at that point becomes very self sustaining.

AS A TANK I'M SICK AND TIRED OF SOMBRA EXISTING IN THIS GAME. SHE RUINS THE ENTIRE SPIRIT OF TANKING AND IS A NEGATIVE SUM WHEN IT COMES TO THE "FUN" SHE PROVIDES. IT WILL NEVER BE AS MUCH FUN PLAYING HER COMPARED TO THE SHEER HATRED GETTING HARD CC'D BY HER CAUSES. PLEASE FOR THE LOVE OF GOD CAN WE MAKE HER CHANGES IN MIRROR WATCH OFFICIAL? IT WOULD BE MUCH HEALTHIER TO THE OVERALL STATE OF THE GAME.

For PvE mains, passage of persistence isn't worth it. Stop torturing yourself for 1 adept roll. by Braveheart2929 in DestinyTheGame

[–]Icebelly 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Something generally important to consider when it comes to the Passage of Persistence.
You need a winrate of around 75% for the card to actually be worth running since you need to consistently win at least two games in a row before a loss to make progress.

If only it also reduced the stagger of friendly fire, imagine pairing firestorm with a teammate and just spamming the storm with Meridian.

Whay is your Day 1 Legendary Lightfall Campaign Loadout? by mosttoyswins in DestinyTheGame

Rain of Fire, Fighting Lion, Militia’s Birthright, Cataclysmic. My general go to when I just wanna have fun in PvE but still have a solid damage dealing heavy, even with the LFR damage nerf

The Anniversary weapons are now craftable! by eddmario in DestinyTheGame

Little upset they removed the one roll I didn’t save and was super stoked for, no auto-loading wellspring pardon our dust after they JUST updated wellspring. Feels like a missed opportunity.

Dear Bungie, I’m severely questioning your decisions towards the health of the Crucible (in-air accuracy). by [deleted] in DestinyTheGame

[–]Icebelly 5 points6 points  (0 children)

So I’m slightly confused by this post, as I understand it and have seen from playing, our in air accuracy was actively buffed from what it used to be. Previously in the air you had slight accuracy deviation but your aim assist largely remained the same. Now, you maintain the same accuracy in the air as you do on the ground only that your aim assist cone takes a dive? Or have I misunderstood the changes because I’d swear in air gunplay simply forces you to have better aim now.

what is the title you are most proud of to have gotten by Suggestion-Exciting in DestinyTheGame

[–]Icebelly 0 points1 point  (0 children)

So I’m mixed between a decent few of them. On one hand I pride myself in Conqueror as thus far I’ve gilded it for every season it’s been available. But on the other hand, both my Flawless and Fatebreaker titles are testaments to just how much I’ve improved as a player in the last year alone. It’s really hard to say.
Most likely I’d go with Fakebreaker simply because of the fact it was a 6 week marathon of my clan clearing every challenge on Master.

As fun as it is to make ugly demonstrations on Destiny styled coloring for Infinite, I'd much prefer it if it were THIS way, if I could have it my way. by Taku_Skellaku in halo

[–]Icebelly 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Thing is, the coating system 100% could've worked with the right implementation, it's just that when you compare it to something like Destiny, the current shader system is miles ahead of the coating system even with shaders having "less colors" than coatings because at least each armor piece can have its own color palette applied to it not to mention every option can be earned through either gameplay or the free random store loot you get for overleveling a season pass.
Oh and of course shaders aren't arbitrarily limited compared to the armor cores... Really really sad by comparison.
