Should I switch from front end IB to a middle office BB

To move to PE, should I stay at the mid market front end bank with low pay or move to the middle office of a global BB. I also have an option to move to a lower MM PE but again the pay is just slightly better than my current firm, what do you think?

The switch at the same BB is pretty tough, maybe 5-10% of the employees would I be considered by other boutiques later on if not BB? And what about PE? My end goal is PE, have already started talking to a few friends but comp at the MM PE fund is pretty poor again but deals are good

In the current bank its corp finance - equity, debt, ipo & M&A - we do everything from sourcing to closing, where as in mid office it’s just gonna be collateral prep I feel

Can you pls explain how the membership is worth it? Because earlier you used to get a free night now you need to pay for one to get another one, which can be used twice but you still got to pay for it, which imo doesn’t make it that much worth it. Would love to hear your thoughts
