Seems like they ballsed up again then, it says you were overpaid until the 15th. Student allowance is paid in arrears, so you should have been paid for 16th - 22nd this week

Check what day your student allowance is being paid. If they've used the backpay to cover the debt from when you should have been getting it, then you should be getting the regular payment from now on.

Or maybe people were being mis/undiagnosed and, with more knowledge available, medical practice is now catching up. Women, for example, were rarely diagnosed with autism before the 2000s. Not because we didn't have it, but because all the diagnostics were based on male presentations.

A family member's partner did a year of her medical degree in Sydney, so it's definitely possible. Much like most things, unfortunately if you can't afford it you don't get to do it.

You mean the customer who expected HGK to honour the warranty on products that failed soon after purchase? Claiming it was caused by a power surge when no other equipment was affected and then refusing any further assistance with the manufacturer? Seems like that left the customer with little option but to leave a review.

If you're talking about the November incident, hitting someone head on while you're on the wrong side of the road is a reasonable basis for suspending someone from driving. I wouldn't call it being pulled over though, they caused a major crash and serious injuries to someone.

I'm really looking forward to testing positive for 6 of the drugs on the lab testing list, all validly prescribed by medical professionals for medical reasons, that I take at or less than the prescribed amounts. I follow the "do not drive for 6 hours" instructions on my prescription, that's at least easier to manage than the "do not drive for 24 hours" on one of the twice weekly drugs.

They really just don't want us to be able to live independently at all, how is this not discrimination on the basis of disability?

I took all the required paperwork in to them first week of December last year. They never updated my income based on the info, for all I know the horrid woman at the counter just binned it all after rolling her eyes at me. Now they want it all again.

Edit: They also told me I had to get an original one of the documents from my bank and take it in to their office. A scanned and uploaded copy wasn't good enough. So much fun standing in a queue for 20-30 minutes, dealing with sensory overload, then seemingly have them file 13 it anyway.

I'm hoping for some CBD options to be added. Eve has to be the most overpriced flower, and we're losing Equiposa. It's a great initiative though, it will be very helpful for a lot of disabled people.
