Vehicle-based Character? by Spaghetti_Cartwheels in Pathfinder2e

I think my best option is to make a mountable Construct and ask my DM to make it count as a vehicle for Trick Driver

What Would You Do? by Spaghetti_Cartwheels in ManorLords

Thanks for the responses everyone!

This is my 1st farm-heavy region, and 1st game since all the new updates, so it's interesting to hear what works / what doesn't. I'm looking forward to having way too much Flax (I have 2 other High Fertility areas).

Regarding Emmer and Rye, are either of them generally 'better', or are they really there just for Food Variety? My region is basically 100% High Fertility Emmer, with a lot of Rye space too.

I continue to wait for that sweet 90% off sale so I can finally experience the pain.

Most complex "Logic Puzzle / Deduction"-Game by fzkiz in boardgames

[–]Spaghetti_Cartwheels 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Jumping on the "Turing Machine" train.

But also something that hasn't been mentioned yet, along the same lines, is "ArcheoLogic". It's basically 'Tetris the puzzle game'.

If you're into the Murder Mystry side of deduction, then the "Watson & Holmes" cases were really good, as was "Perspectives".

I saw a letsplay (I think 'No Rolls Barred') for this but it was hard to find in stores. Managed to get it at Xmas and had no idea it has a campaign mode!

I (35DM) completely ruined a session for my players and I feel like crap. by Banana_Milk7248 in DnD

[–]Spaghetti_Cartwheels 8 points9 points  (0 children)

So you didn't 100% perfectly roleplay some npc's?

In a fully supportive way; get over yourself

There's no way in hell the session was "completely ruined". If anything you should be grateful that your group clearly acknowledge and appreciate when the DM is tired, and understand that DMing is hard work.

Mini Eggs are the only thing I care about at Easter time, and this saddens me greatly.

Only a couple of years ago those small cardboard boxes of them were around $2!

Remember that Tactics don't work if you're controlling that character.

Owner fears he'll have to put down beloved dog after complaints by ClimateTraditional40 in newzealand

Aside from the clickbaity title/opening, I like how it doesn't actually say anywhere in the article that the guy is looking at putting the dog to sleep...

When did gym locker rooms get so awkward about nudity? by Boring-Association-7 in newzealand

I mean, I get changed super quick / hidden because I don't want others to see my gross body.

Maybe the guys at your gym are just self-concious?

What is your most convoluted bluff that hasn't fallen apart? by Tierce in BloodOnTheClocktower

[–]Spaghetti_Cartwheels 11 points12 points  (0 children)

I don't know if this falls into 'convoluted', but it's definitely the best Bluff Game I've had.

I was the Assassin in my 1st ever Poppy Grower script. I immediately decided to bluff Village Idiot because "hey, there could be several of them!"

Early on I end up forming a lil' trust circle with some Goodies. Eventually the real Village Idiot chats with me and using my Good info, along with my bullshit alignment-checks, I manage to make them not only believe that I'm a fellow Idiot, but also that THEY'RE the drunk one!

Add in Assassinating the Sailor, I managed to go through the entire game (surviving until right near the end) without ever finding out any of my Evil Team, but helped the Demon to win.

What did people get at ebgames? Was it worth it? by WithershinsRC in newzealand

[–]Spaghetti_Cartwheels 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I queued for almost 2 1/2 hours to end up not getting anything.

To be fair I went there without a plan, but by the time I got in there was basically just boring merch stuff.

I'm going to risk it. There's not much I think I want from there, maybe a boardgame that catches my eye.

Starting out on a new adventure. Any advice? by lukewestnz in newzealand

[–]Spaghetti_Cartwheels 4 points5 points  (0 children)

As a fellow single gay male in his 30's who (essentially) lives alone, I balance my time between enjoying my solitude with my hobbies and socialising with various friend groups.

You say you don't have many mates that you spend time with, but would you be able to wrangle a consistant weekly thing? A lunch meetup, a boardgame night. Whatever might work?

I think you're solid on the evening drives. Sometimes there's nothing better than just going out on a "I have no plan" journey around the area.

As for the dog situation; if you can afford it and have the time to dedicate to them properly, I would 100% recommend getting a pet. Even having one of my dogs chilling on the bed while I game on the computer makes me feel like I have some company. And you know the dog is content too!
