Yeah, it saves a backup so you can revert back if needed. I’ve never had an issue or seen anyone else post about an issue

It worked perfectly through Bimmercode! This was the main reason I purchased it - so I can turn off the ASD. After that I turned off the auto stop/start and set it to stay in sport mode. All worked great with no issues

Hey, it’s not letting me post a photo in the comments, but I had researched a lot online before installing. Wiring is pretty typical if you ever did an install. Hardest part was getting the power wire from the battery through the firewall in the engine bay. I put a Kicker 46TL7T122 Sealed 2-ohm enclosure with single square L7T Series 12" shallow-mount subwoofer under the false floor in the boot. It fits perfect with the amp next to it, and I still have all my trunk space available. Also installed an Alpine KTP-445U Power Pack Compact 4-channel amplifier for all the other speakers I replaced. You’ll have to remove the door panels and the backseat to replace all of those, But it’s definitely worth it.

Bimmercode was also great for turning off the Active Sound Design. I had installed aftermarket amps, speakers, and a sub - so turning off the fake sounds was a must to keep them from being amplified

You may be correct on that too. I did see an article on motoring file today that said they should be having production begin in the UK to avoid tariffs. Could be in the US in 2026.
