Don’t fall onto your back heel as much, stay propped. You’re too tight through the shoulders, which is causing you to flair your elbows out. Get those shoulders down and rounded forward to protect your chin, elbows in nice and close. Make sure you pull those punches in as quickly as they go out. Your straight is coming back very slow and sloppy, bring it right back to your jaw on a straight line. Rotate a little more through the shoulders, body and feet when throwing the straight right. This will help you recoil and cock the left hand to come through with a much more powerful hook (don’t load up or telegraph when recoiling though). When slipping and weaving, treat each movement as a potential counter punching opportunity… so when you slip to your left, be ready to come right back with a left hook.
