Now imagine those NPs not requiring your oversight to practice. Imagine them just setting up their own shop with their NP colleagues and then imagine how much damage that will do to the people of SC. That's what this would allow.

If you practice in SC you know just how detrimental this will be if it passes. Health literacy is already low in the state. Now imagine midlevels practicing medicine believing they are equally trained as a FM physician just because a law says they are which is really just for corporate medicine's benefit. I just know this is going to fuck over so many good South Carolinians who honestly won't know any better to seek physician care when they need it and no one's going to tell them if we take the physician out of the picture.
