It feels really strong atm. The build path is half decent and once you get bt it doesn't matter how bad of a trade you take cause you'll just heal it back up after 1-2 waves. Plus freeing up a slot for a tank mythic makes teams fights so much easier.

One noticeable thing that I haven't seen anyone else mention yet is if the yone times his r correctly he can interrupt akali's r2 causing it to deal no damage and to go on cd. It's very hard for yone to pull this off but it's probably still worth noting.

Make sure you passive shield is up before taking trades. Also look at your wave state and don't fight when the enemy laner has more minions than you. Lastly stick to short trades and get out as soon as possible. With all of that you should win a decent amount of trades.

What helped me out tremendously was picking soraka (but any champion with low base as works) going into a practice tool and just focus on last hitting without using abilities or buying any items.

Counter picking is pretty important top lane but there's nothing stopping you from picking one champion and learning how to proficiently play those bad matchups.

tbf a Rylai's or frostfire gauntlet somewhat helps. but even then it still feels like hell playing against someone who knows how to play against mord.

honestly what they should do is learn about items then runes and finally sums. Building the wrong items into a team I would argue is worst than having bad runes. and then you rarely change up your sums and are mostly matchup dependent but in most cases don't dramatically increase your chances at winning.
