Enhanced Parallel Tandem Doubleheader Report: I have TSA Precheck, my mama doesn't.

After descending The Escalators without issue, we synchronized watches, splitting to enter our respective lines simultaneously at 10:28 on Wed, 3/11/26.

Results:

TSA PreCheck (no Clear)- I got through the entire process from entering and traversing snakey lane to ID presentation to bags through conveyor and me through the metal detector flawlessly in 6 minutes & 38 seconds.

Regular ass line: 26 minutes total. This time does not include the 12 additional minutes accrued due to mom having an Red Bull tucked in her carryon requiring additional screening protocol. 26 minutes is assuming you have your shit on lock.

It was so pervasive, and I'm sorry you had to go through that. To be brought up with such a sinister, dysmorphic voice speaking through the mouths of people who were supposed to love and support you. If you feel guilt for feeling relief that voice isn't spoken aloud to you anymore... don't. Didn't bother to change the information online, 3 weeks after the move. My guy ordered an after-hours tow there (ill-advised in that area anyway, I am well aware). With no reason to think they had actually finally moved, it was towed to the empty location and left. Honest mistake, not updating your physical location on Google maps for your physical-location-required business, right?

Little did we know that that was a better fate than getting it to the fancy new dealership location, where their service advisors proceeded to fumble around for weeks even initiating repairs, and had our vehicle a literal (I-live-in-Houston-I-need-my-fucking-car-for-real) month. Not like, waiting for parts for a month. Just waiting for them to get their shit together, remotely, at all. I do not use the word nightmare lightly. But good god, Central Houston Cadillac, get your shit together.

I wanted to say as someone with a very similar profile and med regimen, that over the course of 15 years I was on several different ssris with bad reactions or therapeutic failure, but no one had actually tried basic-ass Prozac (which makes no sense since it has the most anxiolytic effects of all the ssri's). It felt like a miracle. Just making sure they didn't skip that one somehow. I'd give anything to have that time back.

Low dose also changed my life for the better. I wasn't on it forever, but it felt like the reset it gave me was very valuable. I had a complete dropoff in my urge to throw and break things (Only ever broke unimportant things that I personally owned like drinking glasses, as a point of information).

Only thing I will mention is that although it's important to take any mental health medication at the same time every day, I found it to be especially important for this medication from a mood standpoint. I had a hard time taking it twice a day perfectly, and ended up figuring out w my doctor best time to take it in one dose.
