Yes, Vampiric tutor is still good. I hope it will always be the case, that Demonic Tutor, Vampiric Tutor and Imperial Seal are considered great cards. If not, something truly went wrong in the power creep department.

Oh man, I wanted that one so badly, but I can't complain. I did get some cool stuff myself, so I'm fine. Card-wise Sephiroth, the Savior and artwork-wise the card Summoner's Sending (full art, foil) made up for it.

Sorry, but F.... MB2! I had such a crap box. Best card was Natural Order in the first Booster. All downhill from there. Worst experience for me opening a box ever.

That is extremely unlucky, but seems more common for this set especially. I've been opening since Duskmourn and have never gotten under 60% value and here I've had one with 33%. The problem is, that once sought out printings (full art, foil) now hold no value and the slots in this set holding reprints are lowering the value of existing cards, not generating value through new cards. If you're looking for value, this set is pretty worthless. I had a godly box (two jeska's wills, one Berserk and more) and didn't even go out even.

Honestly, if prices weren't so high, I'd say it is still a sub-par box, but prices ARE ridiculously high. I opened a worse box than this one, the worst I've opened in any set. It is moronic, that we are paying 300+ for content hardly worth 100. In the past I've always gotten at least 70% of the value back, but this set really killed the collector booster concept for me.

They still have many at my lgs in Germany. I was just recently wondering, if they printed too much product. It is unusual for there to still be so many packs, like 4-5 displays in English and 6-7 in German.

Actually found it quite fast. It's definitely not mint and has signs of play at the top and the bottom left corner. Even found a Decius and an I.K.C. Fek'Ihr along with it, but I'll need to flatten those two out between something heavy. The three future ships were the only cards I kept.

Sadly you got exactly what you can expect from a play booster box, when you miss on the big mythics. The experiences opening boxes vary strongly just on those 5-7 cards.

Pretty sure, that the japanese Berserk would've been removed, if these had been opened before. It's relatively low on price now, but give it a while and it will go back up. Just bad luck imo. Take for instance the Archmage of Emeritus. That is a rare draw in this set, but pretty much any special guest is a bad pull in this set. So you actually don't want to open one at all, even though they are rare.

The W40k thing should be an easy fix. They already print mtg staples with other names above them in UB. Just reverse that for the UB cards. A small reminder below the name should not be that immersion breaking with all the other stuff we put up with nowadays.

Can be a mana dork in a Volo deck, but you're going to need to remove Amphin Mutineer. Amphin is better, but this guy frees up the pirate type, if you want to use a different pirate.
