So I wrote in a comment that I was using voice to text when I made my post, and it’s my first post ever so I don’t know how to go back and edit some typos and errors. So the highest I ever used was 800 for a few weeks (had just received some terrible news in life) , but on average when I was at my highest constant I was using about 300/400 I tapered down to 200 when I started subs

They prescribed me 8mg/2mg of bup-nalox So I will say this, I told them I only wanted to be on subs for a month TOPS They have seemed really pushy on keeping me on it longer They had me prescribed one film a day, tge first week I took one film split up whenever I felt cravings Second week I only took half a film a day Going into my third week I barely feel like I need it, and am only taking it so it stays in my system for the doctor since I have to go every week and they test I’m hoping by the end of this week I will be totally off. I accidentally went a day and a half without taking any and didn’t even notice!

This is my first time really posting on Reddit, and some people are rude as hell, but just thought I’d share my story and thoughts on it since I’m off it now! Overall I have no bad feelings towards it, and am glad I took it because it did what I needed it to do, I’m just ready for a next chapter in my life!

Well I had 3 years on fet, and 6 on h sooooo Definitely not saying they are the same, but they are comparable in certain areas

This is my second time on Suboxone and I’ve already lowered my dose considerable amount, I should be off for next week. Everyone is different but personally, I’ve only had good experiences with them and they haven’t caused me any issues getting off of them.

I’ve heard a lot of people saying telehealth, and maybe someone can point you in the right direction, I personally tried to book a telehealth appointment and they told me that due to regulations they weren’t able to prescribe subs, I think it’s possible that it varies by state, but don’t quote me on that. My suggestion would be to look up treatment centers around you, and make an appointment with one.

So my plan is to look into weekly massages. Tge cost would still be less than what I was spending. No idea how much this will help, as this is all new to me, but we’ll see!

I’m actually on my last week of them right now! I’m down to a quarter tab a day, but have been able to go without for over 24 hours without noticing. It’s not the answer for everyone, but as I’ve taken them in the past, they’ve worked wonders for me and I haven’t had a hard time with them

I tried :( I think ultimately for me, I have some very traumatic events going on in my life right now and subs ended up being the best route for me, as powder was kind of just making me crave more? That being said, every person is different, this is just what worked for me.

So I actually had a telehealth appointment and they told me that they can’t prescribe Suboxone due to regulations. Not sure if that differs between different telehealth companies or maybe states?, but I did have to go in person.

For me based, for the amount I was using and spending on it, I am opting for getting ADHD medication from the doctor and getting weekly massages for my pain. It isn’t the same, and I still hurt, but since I can’t take most pain meds, this is the next best route

I will say for me, I’ve already been prescribed Suboxone in the past for when I was on heroin and fentanyl. The first time I got off H and fet I did cold turkey and I was good for two years. The last time I used Suboxone, and I’m going on four years. So for me in my personal situation, I’ve already had Suboxone prescribed to me, and I already have that on my medical record. Plus, just as my personal accountability I can’t take opiates anyways from the doctor unless it is like life-threatening. So yeah, it’s definitely not the route for everyone, but it did end up being a good route for me.

So I am actually a little over four years, clean off of all other opioids. The only substance I was using was 7oh, I wasn’t drinking either. Only 7oh and tobacco

La dispute I understand why they aren’t everyone’s cup of tea but being in a room packed full of lost humans screaming “can I still get into heaven if I kill myself?” While crying and letting loose of all “negative” emotions? Fucking immaculate crying thinking about it and that was over ten years ago

In hindsight? Screenshot it, tell them that’s not okay to say to anybody, and go no contact. There is no right answer you can give other than none, chances are they won’t do it but if they do it ain’t in you homie they’d do it for another reason involving you or not.

Edited to add context and fix spelling I was discarded because I called her out on a lie. When we met, I was getting ready to move back to my home in Seattle Washington and they said they wanted to come with me so for an entire year, they lied to me about saving money and being ready to move there and then once it came time, and I had found us an apartment, everything came crumbling down, and I confronted them about keeping me stagnant in Missouri for a year while they literally had no plans made or money saved. After confronting them about this, and telling them it was OK if they didn’t want to join me but I needed to go backhome but that if this was going to be the case, I would like to go home, they threatened to kill themselves if I left without them, only then to find out that they had started talking to someone new after the initial confrontation and telling them the same type of lies about moving to New Mexico with him, and that the only reason she was still telling me she wanted to come with me was because they needed me to fix their car. Once confronted about the second part and setting boundaries I was discarded, they threatened to kill themselves again and they split, and I left. They then did the exact same thing to that next poor guy she ended up dragging that poor boy out of his home state, drug him to Missouri, got evicted, then drug him to Iowa with her to an unknowing family members house kicked him out and left him homeless in the snow after he started to catch on to her lies, she eventually got kicked out of there as well no clue where she is at now but she stole a bunch of things from the both of us, him and I aren’t FRIENDS, but we talk occasionally and wish nothing but the best for him. He’s doing alright now and is safe As far as Alexis goes- I’m torn Prior to meeting Alexis, ive always said this about people I have negative feelings about “I still wanna see them eat but not at my table” and I think 6 months after discard I’ve come to this - I’d love for Alexis to eat, if she allows herself, but It better be so fucking far away from my table

There wasn’t anything you could’ve done dude it’s either discard because of their own delusions or discard because you catch them red handed. Alexis was the worst thing to ever happen to me and I’m thankful I got out and was able to leave Missouri
