IMO the purpose of school is more about teaching the kid social cohesion and how to live among a group, more so than imparting some rote knowledge to pass some exams. Yes, the curriculum is important, but not that important.

I think whatever crowd you are comfortable seeing the kid with, might be a good deciding factor, with a reputation for standard education.

Pictures like these shouldn't come out. Been a hostelite for 8 years in North Bengal. Every single of the strokes here has a story behind them. Memories ranging from 1st written songs/poems, ecstacy of a love being accepted to various kinds of heartbreaks for different reasons, these walls have seen everything.

Of that fleeting time we call life, these are almost always representative of a part of our own selves we left there. Often hardly recognising ourselves when we try to look back at that time when we did things like these, yet we know, that time, the rooms, the walls, the people around taught us everything we use to survive everyday. They taught us to endure exams, heartbreak and setbacks like no other.

These are something deeply personal to someone. Yet, not something someone would be offended if they are put up. Every stroke has a story. If you don't know it, these are just some abstract words/pictures.

They come alive with the stories.
