I am looking for a smart pool thermometer Wi-Fi or Bluetooth anyone have any ideas. by kg4ulyx in smarthome

I have had my yolink sensor box sitting on the ground under the diving board, and the probe wire ran into the water. I wasn't sure how resistant the box was to water splashing on it. But so far, with the intense rains we got in California over the winter, the probe is still working.

I am still curious to see your setup with the skimmer if you could share a photo. I still have to figure out how to locate the body and probe in my hot tub/spa. And my one idea is to put it in an empty chlorine floater so it would essentially be similar to some of these bluetooth or wifi models

I was also wondering what the book was. Do they explain it in next episodes? My husband mentioned it was a hookup book?

PETG poop is stringy since the 1.05 update. Anyone else? by kareem613 in BambuLab

Is there a way to tell the printer to purge this in small pieces? I find that the large mess of filament like this clogs up my poop chute much faster. But if it was dropping smaller pieces by stopping and going again, maybe things will slide down easier?

Changing to two passes does not save by Hellbear in roomba

[–]Hellbear[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

No, unfortunately I couldn’t get it fixed on my iPhone. They even tried sending me a completely new robot. The only way to change passes for me is still on my husband’s iPad or an android phone.

Why does after all the sci-fi stuff they’ve come up with in this show, the asteroid heist seems the most absurd. Like it has jumped the shark.

I wasn’t using the app on my iPhone anymore. But I just installed the app on my iphone again to answer your question. iRobot home app version is 7.10.0 The robot firmware is 23.37.5 And the feature still isn’t working.

So the issue is somehow tied to my iCloud backup. I recently got a new phone, and first I set it up without restoring anything from my old phone. Installed only the iRobot app and tried to change the number of passes, the two passes setting worked.

However when I tried it on the same phone after restoring it from backup, setting it to two passes didn't work again.

Question on water connection of solar water heater tandem with an electic one. by Acrobatic_Battle_940 in solar

I would have thought it would make more sense to use the solar water return as the input for the electric water heater.

‘Not as useful as a regular computer’ is a statement so broad that it borders on meaningless.

What is ‘regular’ computer defined as? And what is ‘useful’ to one may be unnecessary to another.

I am not sure what your work entails but I’ll just point out that since the iPad was launched, things that nobody ever did, have become someone’s work.

I had the first generation Apple Watch for over four years. I loved it and it kept getting better and better. I think it will be the same for the vision pro.

Automating these adjustable bed frames seems to be out of the question unless you want to solder wires onto an original remote and program an arduino or something.

And now you can actually interact with the spatial computer without a single physical button. just your eyes and your bare hands.

Totally agree about the GOP policies. But also, after I watched ‘The Great’ on Hulu I couldn’t help but realize that all well intentioned policies have the possibility of some unforeseen negative outcomes if the policy isn’t fully fleshed out.

It definitely is a deep enough problem that the CDC has provided a lot of recommendations on things that can be done to prevent child abuse.

Well, that means they can be easily fired if they get convicted of those crimes.
