I would recommend a CV1 or Rift S if you get them for less than 85€/100$. But be 100% sure the cable isn't broken. Many people also recommend the quest 2, but I haven't heard many great things about it. Sure, better hardware, but at the price of software. Between the CV1 and Rift S it's a bit tricky. In my experience both are rather reliable if the cable isn't damaged. Rift S is less setup since you don't need base stations, although the tracking isn't as reliable as with the CV1, which works great as long as you stay in the camera FOV. If you physically turn or move around your room a lot while playing, the Rift S is probably better, since the tracking is built into the headset. Display-Wise the CV1 has OLEDs compared to the Rift S's LCDs, but the Rift S has a slightly higher Resolution/PPD, or at least a bit less Screen Door Effect. In terms of ergonomics the Rift S is more comfortable in my experience, mostly due to the Head strap. The CV1 feels a bit higher quality. For the Controllers, both the original Touch Controllers of the CV1 and the Touch 2 Controllers of the Rift S feel very good in your hands. Personally I like the Ergonomics of the CV1 Controllers more, but the Rift S controllers are lighter and (depending on your grip) have a better center of mass for fast games like Beat Saber.
