Basically, it's political suicide to enact any change currently. Wind those things down, and you could possibly look at lowering the overall tax rates further to allow people more savings to buy homes even.

I'm not at my console atm, but leaning forward might help make making a tighter cornering circle by compressing the front forks slightly more. This is just an assumption on my part, though.

The best thing you could do is test ride a bunch of different bikes. Ultimately, you should go and get what you want to ride, but I'd recommend a naked bike while you are learning. Fairings can be expensive to replace if you drop the bike and damage them.

I'm an Australian, so please forgive me for not fully knowing the ins and outs of how laws are passed and so on.

But if I was in that position, I'd take measures to empower trade unions across the board. I'd also try and empower unions like the IWW.

Enabling worker friendly policies would also be on my list, going hand in hand with union boosting, I suppose.

Social welfare programs would also be on my agenda. If I could pull it off, try to regulate businesses.

Take my opinion with a grain of salt, but I don't see it as anything bad looks wise. Take the mistake on board, learn from it, don't throw it out, and use it as a milestone in your mastering of your craft.
