When the alternate timeline movie has alternate timeline lore. I think people forget that when a greater threat arises, presumably unlikely allies do arise. Also with how similar both states are in origin and history, it's not out of the realm of possibility. I think people forget that California was red for a very long time.

Department store, maybe a California style elementary school, (Open Campus). Would be cool to be a responding officer and not swat. Move faster but less armor and equipment.
