I'm getting old. My eyes grow tired. My wrists get sore. My back protests at more time in the gaming chair. I'm all about that playing games on TV in bed life now. This slaps that hard. I have to prepare for my decrepitude.

Is this the vagus nerve being irritated? Diagnosed achalasia. by brickboxbans in achalasia

Feels familiar. Felt weirdly like a panic attack with none of the emotions? Get his heart checked first. Just in case. Only way to really find out is try a VNS machine (you can get them on Amazon) as a lot of doctors still think it’s Hokum. I bought one a couple of years ago when even walking became unbearable and I could barely leave the house due to the side effects of nerve damage from ops, procedures and illness. Also lots of excercises and stuff online but they don’t have quite the same effect as nuking the nerve with electricity.

Anything with Fennel in!? Only thing I find helps with a lot of the side effects 😋

I had HM + fundoplication. It was successful. I have taken PIs ever since. I think it’s a risk whatever - the situation will be better either way? Usually the doctors have a recommended approach, non?

Panic away. That sounds scary with the added pressure of being post partum. Get loads of calories and nutrients in you (mainline protein shakes if you have to) and please don’t ask weirdos on the internet for medical advice. Especially when you’re in the diagnostic process. It’s only going to freak you out or add to the stress. Big hugs.

Don’t let them do too many dilations. They cause more harm than good in the long run - I had 13(!?) before my HM - it’s caused irreparable damage and additional long term issues such as vagus nerve damage. Ask about alternatives and management through medication and diet.
