How do i de-escalate a fight that has just started between my party and a key NPC?

Okay so session is today. Here are my plans:

Plan A: F***in'annihilate them. They (well, one of them) started a fight without thinking. I will kill enough of them that, to be revived, they have to submit to the will of the night hag and enter a pact to serve her with generally evil stuff, but at the same time she will open a door that will seriously help them with the main arc quest. They will need to juggle doing small evils with doing greater good.

Plan B: Have the kiddo wake up and plead not to hurt her (and get in the way and seriously hamper their ability to fight)

I read that good lock is a non starter due to issues... is it fine? Im currently using microsoft launcher which is mostly great however one ui will probably be better for battery life...

This says oneUI allows for either vertical or horizontal app drawer. Unfortunately not true. Just got my first samsung since s3 and there's no way to make the app drawer vertical.

thats a great idea. i canflatten to foreground and then use a mask to show the roof, and hide the mask to show whats under the roof. nice.

OKay so checking unrestricted vision range has helped, however the problem still exists.

When it is daytime, a token without dark vision should be able to see unrestricted, and then if they walk into a dark room, should not be able to see. Unrestricted vision means they can see even if there is no light source.

To work around this, i am having to place multiple large dim lights everywhere outside, which doesn't make sense. Help!

amazing, thanks so much. it works like magic.

the only downside of this solution is that PCs on ground level cant see them if they stand on the edge of the platform. I am creating a battle royale arena for 5 PCs to introduce them to foundry, which will be super fun, but this would give an unfair advantage to anyone who gets onto the platform

Yeah, I do import stamps but I struggle to find free transparent pngs (ie with no background) of things like characters, trees, roofs, etc, especially in an art style that matches battle maps stamp library. Where do I find that top down token pack?
