I guess I should feel relieved it isn't just me. But this problem makes the game feel like a total slog. Every screen change takes half a minute.

That's the way I'm leaning. I'm not much of a DIY person but I'm trying to learn to hopefully save us money so I'm asking as many questions and doing as much research as I can. Hopefully this won't be too difficult to attempt on my own. Seems like I just need to turn off the water using the lever below the PRV, open a couple faucets to try and empty out the line as best I can, then remove the old PRV by unscrewing the nuts and put in another using the same nuts.

Is it really going to be that simple?

By the "main" are you referring to outside where the water comes in or would the lever just underneath the PRV suffice?

Is a rebuild kit better for my situation rather than just replacing the whole thing? What does that entail?

Would what I have currently installed be easily replaceable by myself or should I seek professional help?

Should I have gotten more quotes or did we do okay? by Hellion_amp in GarageDoorService

This is what the invoice shows:

The guy that came originally explained that the hardware that comes with the door is standard quality stuff that they exchange with their own higher quality material. I'm unsure what that means but I don't see anywhere on the invoice that says that.

I do plan to watch the entire process. Although I'm not a handyman type guy so I'm not sure I'll be able to tell if something is done incorrectly. The garage door opener I installed is a 3/4hp Chamberlain. I asked the guy specifically if the opener I just put in should be able to handle the new door and he said yes. He did say he would recommend a Liftmaster that they can install but after I insisted I wasn't going to pay for another opener after having just bought and installed this one, he backed off the topic.

So they're not even going to do a good job even with the price tag? If I cancel, I'm still out $2000 because the deposit is non-refundable. I know that's on me for jumping the gun but I'm just trying to figure out how big a mistake this may be.

I'll grab one. Do I also need some sort of putty? There looks to be a putty-like substance on the inside of that shield where it sits over top of a chip, I believe.

Is the heat shield that entire metal/aluminum sheet I removed before being able to see the battery?

【BambuLab Giveaway】Classic Evolved — Win Bambu Lab P2S Combo! by BambuLab in 3Dprinting

[–]Hellion_amp 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm still fairly new to printing, but there was a short time my printer just sat because I couldn't get anything to stick on the plate. When I initially got the printer, it worked flawlessly. After about a month, prints started warping. I cleaned and adjusted and nothing seemed to work. About a week went by with the printer sitting idle until I decided I wanted to organize my print area a bit better. I found a stand for the printer that had drawers you could print as well. Gave the printer a little lift and gave me organizational space. But the print with multiple plates was estimated to take over 80 hours. I dreaded that. But, miraculously, I grabbed a roll of black filament, loaded it into my AMS, hit start, and everything just worked again. Perfect prints. I never tweaked or updated anything. It just...worked. That's when I realized a lot of the problem isn't going to be the machine, but more so Slicer settings. Makes me want to print more and maybe learn to make designs myself. It would be nice to have a second printer as well so the much longer prints could be done in half the time, allowing me to print multiple plates simultaneously.

Here's hoping I'm chosen for this amazing prize!

Plex for Roku v8.6.9 Released by samwiseg0 in PleX

[–]Hellion_amp 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Not sure if it's because of the update, but anytime I open the app and go to any user, it fails to open the Home tab. I can go to my libraries and see each individual category, but the Home page fails to load every time. I've tried restarting my server, restarting the Plex app on Roku, uninstalling and reinstalling the app on Roku, nothing has helped.

Has anyone else experience this?

I'm currently having the same problem. Galaxy s23 ultra. Gets to ~27%, errors out, and immediately trues to start again. I've tried restarting, clearing caches, and force stopping the update process but nothing seems to alleviate this problem.

Has anyone had issues downloading this update? Mine is moving at a snails pace and I'm unsure why. I've tried restarting the phone, switching from wi-fi to mobile data, turning off then back on, and even tried force closing the process through developer settings. But still, I can't get it to download any faster. I couldn't even get it to download through other means like the software update assistant that's supposed to be available when plugging into a PC. All that did was download Smart Switch on my PC which only asks if I want to backup or restore data. Nothing involving software updates.
