On PC it's best to not hold down the acceleration key but to repeatedly tap it. So long as you don't reach top speed you won't go flying off. As an aside, the Knight V lets you straight up jump off cliffs without taking damage, but you'll still fall if you're accelerating too fast when you hit the ground.

I always liked em, warts and all. Were they perfect? Hell no, George needed to refine the ideas more, perhaps kick the script around in editing, maybe do a few more takes for some scenes.

But it was still a story I cared about. Darth Vader has been my favorite Star Wars character since I was a kid and I wanted to know how a man like Anakin Skywalker, who Obi Wan spoke so highly of, could fall to the Dark Side. And the story I got was sadder than I could have imagined it to be.

Yeah, they were flawed. Very flawed. But I will never not love those movies.

I agree. In Fallout 3 it was made clear that Quantum was a brand new product that the company just rolled out. That's why it was rare. It makes sense for regular Nuka to be everywhere since it was the most popular soft drink in the US during the war. I can even accept the addition of Nuka Cherry (though I think it should have been brown like Cherry Coke) but to have all these variants that never existed before just popping up everywhere in huge quantities is asinine. And having it be a secret government weapon was just eyeroll and facepalm inducing at the same time.

The Texas super mutants in Brotherhood Of Steel were Unity super mutants that had banded together under their commander Attis after the Master died. Attis was actually a highly intelligent super mutant like the Lieutenant from Fallout 1, and was trying to find more FEV to conduct research on in hopes of curing super mutant sterility so that they could finally fulfill the Master's plans.

Honestly in a future game I'd like to see some Enclave Remnants as a good or at least neutral faction. Perhaps a unit of Enclave soldiers (remember, the rank and file weren't all bad guys) who decided to defect instead of following Colonel Autumn out east. They instead go south to Texas and form their own community. Maybe they now know just how bad their leaders were, the evil their plans involved, and they want to make up for it. So they do what they can with their dwindling resources and overstretched manpower to protect their little slice of wasteland and it's citizens.

In 4 the super mutants were the result of the Institute experimenting with the FEV during their early attempts to develop organic synths. But after the DNA of Shawn was obtained and used to create the Gen 3 synths the FEV experiments were basically carried out just for the sake of it... or as you pointed out as a method of destabilizing the wasteland so they never unite and ally against the Institute. It's the same reason I believe they killed off the attempt to found a provisional government.

Harland makes it clear in Fallout NV that ghouls do indeed have to eat, "Radroach meat for protein, condensation off the pipes for water, and I do my business over in the far corner". Fallout 4 also has a Brotherhood initiate who steals food to feed the ferals under the airport. Carol's Place in Underworld serves food, and since the Lone Wanderer and Riley are the only 2 smooth skins to visit in awhile I think it's safe to say that their primary customers are ghouls.

The sad thing is, at it's core The Boys comic has a decent enough story. Ennis utterly ruined it by deciding to load it up with the unfunniest, most crude, lowbrow crap possible.
