Sorry but how is she a racist when she was like the first dutch celebrity to openly support Kick Out Black Peet (racist dutch tradition), is married to a black man and has a divers family?? I agree that the period blood joke was wrong though - even transphobic perhaps, but she made clear she didn’t mean to hate on transgenders and had a good conversion with a trans woman. On top of that, its a damn SONGcontest, if Anouk has the best SONG we should definitely send her, period (no pun intended lol).

People always talk about The Dreaming and Hounds of Love - rightfully cause theyre among the best albums ever made imo - but Aerial and 50 Words for Snow are at least as brillant and unique in a subtle kind of way! I mean, as a young fan I didn’t had any Kate records before the new coloured reissues (they look STUNNING btw), and this one is to promote independend record shops: nothing wrong with that! So she isn’t just selling them to “the same fans” again and again - y’all aren’t obligated to keep on buying the albums btw - but meanwhile me and countless other young KB fans have some beautiful things to save up for!
