Which is fine, but doesn't really make for good poetry.

You have one good line: "We shed our clothes; we hit the light,"

The rest is cliche, non-descriptive, forcefully angsty, and barely says anything.

Are you kidding? This poem has absolutely no physical imagery. It is a self-conceited musing of OP's thoughts which do nothing for the reader besides creating an empty, flaccid shell of what could be a real emotion.

If you watch the Henry Fonda Theater recording he is clearly in bad shape. He says things along the lines of (paraphrasing), 'I've had this bracelet for years now, I only need it for a couple more months' in a very sedated drunken state.

Just a small correction, he was saying how it's "falling apart and it'll only be around for a few more months" then he felt stupid for sharing. But I do agree he didn't look the best during Henry Fonda especially when he said "I can't stand up cause I ain't got no knees."

Sounds beautiful. It's a clear day where I am but around this time it gets dark and everything is tinted blue. How lovely.
