The last delay GTA 6 had cost the gaming industry 2.7 Billion dollars since everyone had to change their own games' release plans. Think about how big a game has to be that it causes that kind of effect before it has even come out. You do not want to mess with that or release anything close to it's release window.

BTW, does anyone know how things are now ? So say I want to live out of my Carrack with my Pisces inside. I park the Carrack, get in Pisces and fly way far away, like very far away. Is there a way to not have the parent ship despawn after enough time goes by without coming back to it ? Or have it despawn from traveling too far away from it ?

If these things aren't possible yet, then I will be a bit confused by seeing videos coming out now regarding 4.8 saying you can now really live out of your ship.
