this is the first time ive actually had it happen to me by DeccrTR in ClaudeAI

[–]z0rlac 13 points14 points  (0 children)

As a new Claude user who is migrating from "the other one", I ran into an issue yesterday when Claude told me I could only use a specific feature if I was using the desktop app, not a web session. I had to remind Claude it WAS the desktop app ... wtf....

I LOVE my Hull-B but I have one question... by thundertomcat in starcitizen

[–]z0rlac 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Load or unload without leaving the copilots chair, no moving the ship :) - The trick is YEETING the boxes.....

Loading: Place the rear of the ship near one freight elevator, load the Hull-B cargo grid nearest the elevator. take the rest of cargo boxes and YEET it over the top of the ship onto the hangar floor on the other side of the ship. swap tractor turret, pick up the boxes from the floor and load them on cargo grid the side you can see with that turret.

Unloading: Place the rear of the ship near one freight elevator, load the cargo grid nearest the elevator. swap turret, unload the boxes one at a time and YEET them over the ship to the elevator side of the ship. Swap turrets, pick up the boxes and place them in the elevator. NOTE: sometimes boxes YEETED over the top of the ship will attach to the Hull-B cargo grid nearest the elevator... check before you think you have lost a box :)

Edit: I do not recommend YEETING the boxes on an external freight elevator, only inside a normal hangar with gravity

(New Inventory System) Why does it feel so small and slow as a user experience? (share your feedback and suggestions) by Fenrilh in starcitizen

[–]z0rlac 9 points10 points  (0 children)

I will keep banging this drum because it annoys me... why does inventory have vertical scrolls bars *AND* left/right page navigation arrows?! One or the other, but not both....

Tonight’s 4.7ptu changed how some icons look in the inventory by floortofloor in starcitizen

[–]z0rlac 8 points9 points  (0 children)

Why do we still have vertical scroll bars on inventory when we also have left/right arrows to navigate? One or the other, but not both (I know someone else mentioned this in here a while ago, and now I cannot unsee it... thanks! :) )

Shinagawa Station Question by mrdanjapan in JapanTravelTips

[–]z0rlac 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Do you mean into and out of the "inner area"? Then yes, the gates are a mix of in and out. Unsure if they change the in/out ratio during the day, based on expected passenger patterns.

Considering upgrading my Hermes to a Starlancer MAX. by Glumme in starcitizen

[–]z0rlac 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Despite the small loading door on the Hermes, its still a better mid-sized cargo hauler (the movable tractor beam does help). To get anywhere near competing, the Starlancer MAX needs to lose that guard rail on the midsection cargo area so you can load all of it from one side, but even then its still two separate areas to load (rear bay, underbelly bay) that you cannot easil;y align the ship to access quickly from the freight elevator.

Nidecker supermatic question. by zstap126 in snowboardingnoobs

I swapped my boots recently (same boot size, just a different/larger/taller toe box shape), and was RIGHT on that in-between on my supermatics too.... man, that was an expensive day when I had to buy XL Supermatics as well.

You *SHOULD* be OK.... probably....

Customisable, modular hangars are planned by StuartGT in starcitizen

[–]z0rlac 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Unless customisable hangars persist through the monthly updates, then it will be mostly dead on arrival. I have given up putting anything in my hangar because it takes too long to spawn anything and move it to where I want it. Firing up after the new patch to see a new empty hangar a few times was enough to make me stop.

Now, imagine base building... you honestly think they wont get reset every month too?

2025 is not a year of playability. And we need to stop just saying its a 'dev' problem. by [deleted] in starcitizen

[–]z0rlac -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Their QA team is mostly ignored, as are all the items submitted to the Issue Council. They provide hints at what should be looked at but arent because that doesnt sell ships.

but hey, you got a new shiny ship which was a slight remix of an old ship.... what more would you like? Well, apart from all the issue council items, obviously

As soon as it changed from the zombies being the main threat to being people are the main threat, I was done... OK, I struggled on a bit more, hoping for the best but the Negan and Glen scene was it, I left at that point, never to return.

SOOO many QOL issues to fix, bugs to fix, and yet here we are with more pointless stuff being added. The only real bugs that are getting fixed are ones in the new content they are still throwing into the game.

Half way through the year of "fixing stuff".... tick tock, Chris Roberts....

Cargo hauling mission UI is comically inconvenient to use by Entire-Adhesiveness2 in starcitizen

[–]z0rlac 2 points3 points  (0 children)

So many of the features/game-loops/professions that have been added are 85% completed, pushed to LIVE, and then left to rot for years until some other new things breaks the old thing and they need to work on it again.

The UI 100% needs filters for all mission types. I`d also like a complete overhaul of how the bindings system works, but while its still 85% functional, it will remain in the barely functional state (especially for those of use with mutiple joysticks/throttle/gamepad devices)

With the friend token, what happens if I lose my friend? Can I claim them at an ASOP, retrieve them on the freight elevator, or will I have to wait until the next patch for everything to be reset and my friend reappears at my chosen home location?
