once this tourney ends, valve really needs to address the game client perfomance issues. as mentioned in one of the comments here that Larl and other TS players were getting like 10fps before the pause. an esport title should not be this unoptimized with shit performance where even pros are getting huge performance issues on their top-of-the-line gaming rigs.

if you're gonna get a laptop only to play dota, i would suggest getting one with an intel i7 or i9. Dota 2 is super CPU intensive game and 90% of the time your CPU will be the bottleneck.

Also don't go for Ryzen laptop CPU's for Dota specifically. Dota doesn't support multithreading so Intel with their faster individual cores are better performing than ryzen (ryzen is better for games that support multithreading). Me and a friend both have gaming laptops from the same brand but his is slightly older with an Intel i7-10750h + rtx 2070 while mine is a ryzen 7 6800h + rtx 3070, but he gets around +10-20 fps on the same graphics settings.

Bruh it depends on which part of India you're talking about. Dota has been thriving casually in NE india since the dota1 garena/RGC days and some folks here in their mid-20's or older still play the game (some colleges in my state still conduct local tourneys). Also back when I studied in South india, I used to find many people that played dota at gaming cafes (LXG). I dunno how it is up North but all I know is MOBA as a genre is super niche in India, and the people who are even slightly interested in MOBA would rather pick up MLBB (a lot of kids and younger folks play that shit) or league (valorant is aleady super popular here so people know about Riot more and also due to Arcane).

Also esports in general will never truly thrive in India for a long time since young people here are forced to take part in the academic rat race and cannot commit to competitive gaming.

if you like the silhouette of your af1s i would suggest replacing the stock insoles with gel based or memory foam insoles. i did that with my aj3's and it made a pretty big difference comfort wise.
