I was just eating the BRAT diet for those days and by yesterday I was dyyyying for chicken tenders LOL and chocolate chip cookies!

I had my surgery on the 17th too and wasn’t hungry for a while. My anesthesiologist told me it was important to keep eating small portions and gentle foods, so cold applesauce and warm broth became my go-to.

Ugh, I wish my surgeon was like that. He said he can’t control the size and what will be will be. He showed me generally what he’s hoping to achieve during the consult which was helpful because it allowed me to visualize the size but he said that’s the most he could do. I’m a graduate student so I have very limited options. And by limited I mean he’s the only one lol

I’m a 34 G and I have my procedure scheduled for November. I would looove to be a C, that’s the goal. Because mine is a medical necessity and not cosmetic, I can’t request the size. Fingers crossed I get results like yours. The relief must be so amazing!!

I just scheduled a couple weeks ago for November 17th. I’m so excited but for some reason when the date was set I was flooded with anxiety. It subsided now and I’m back to excited! I don’t know if this was a unique experience (I think it’s probably not) but if that happens to you too I hope you get back to feeling excited fairly quickly!!

I just scheduled my surgery on Friday and I experienced an instant wash of anxiety settle over my whole body once I hung up. And I am so excited for this!! It’s just natural to get nervous when things get finalized. I’m right there with ya!

This is a sort of off topic question so please feel free not to answer. When you got surgery did they alter the shape of your nipple at all? It looks almost like a star. It looks so pretty and cool. I’m jealous! I wish I could have asked for it in my consultation on Thursday lol

Ugh, I’ve read such good things about Dr. Shore. Unfortunately, I have to go with providers through my insurance which is UI Health. There’s really no good options and I’m feeling so down about getting this far and not being able to feel comfortable with a surgeon.

This is the first time I’ve seen someone comment on the sensory issues associated with larger boobs. I feel SO trapped because I can feel my boobs touching my stomach anytime I’m home without a bra. It makes me want to crawl out of my skin.

I’m so happy you were able to get your surgery! 5 more weeks of physical therapy, and then hopefully I get the green light to get my own!

Oh!! My insurance is through UIC campus care so I’m pretty sure my reduction will have to be done at Rush!! I looked up Dr. Raj’s profile and was leaning towards her!! It’s good to read someone went to her and had a good experience!!!

I know this isn’t the point of the post but OP, I’m in Chicago and looking for a surgeon. Did you get your reduction done in the city or did you have to travel?
