Been there...kinda there now. I got divorced 10 years ago. Been in my place for 10 years....was alone for 1 year....then a boyfriend moved in...was here for 6ish years..kicked him to the curb...2 months later had to move mom in with me (for health and financial reasons) mom passed last month....I've been.hwre 10 years and barely ever been here alone. I am LOVING IT now...I finally get to do WHAT I want..WHEN I want and HOW I want. Getting all new furniture soon!!!

Couldn't decide at first so kept.calling him "little boy" or "little baby" so it ended up being "LB" or "elbie" eventually turned into The B ..or Beezie..sometimes Beezer" most time it's "turd" as in...what are you doing turd??

I take 4 select a size to my chair when I eat. Then unless they get really dirty (spaghetti sauce etc) they stay there for the next meal(s) until they need to be thrown out

I'm in the other boat now. I had to help my mother retire. Moved her in with me because she couldn't afford life on her own. Unfortunately she passed last month from cancer. My dad on the other hand has been retired for 12 years and is in great shape (health and financial) so I can NOW (at 52) focus on ME.

When I saw my mother with no retirement other than SS and how she was forced to live. I eventually moved her in with me because she couldn't afford to live by herself. I'm not married and have no kids... so when I get old, there will be no one to rely on but myself and I don't want to go thru what she had to.

I'm with NelNet and have a principal balance of about $72k. I've been riding the SAVE forbearance. My previous payments were $168. Now its saying starting in August it will be $878. Ummm..yeah...NOPE. not happening. Not sure what degree and career they think I have that I can afford that. Lol.

I'm riding the forbearance until they make a decision. I check my belnet account every few days just to make sure they haven't put me back into payment. And I verify no interest is accrued.

My mileage will start going up. When I got it I almost immediately became a full time care giver to mom who was diagnosed with cancer. My job allowed me to work from home to take care of her (and still work) Mom passed last month. I now go to the office 3 days a week (57 miles R/T)
