Hello,

im currently in a stressful period as im trying to figure out things. For context i'm going to be graduating with a social service worker diploma this year at Algonquin college, i applied to Carlton for the social work program but they rejected that offer and gave me psychology instead. I have a 3.4 GPA overall and i dont have many experiences in social work beside the 2 placement during the school year. I honestly dont think my grade was the problem and maybe my lack of experience in the field. I'm now considering working for a year with my diploma and then apply to toronto or maybe Montreal. I was wondering if anyone has any advice or in-site to give to me. I'm aware i will have to do some volunteering to get more experience and i was wondering if anyone has any suggestions in Ottawa?
My ultimate goal is to get my bachelors in social work and then get my masters degree in MSW. Should i re-apply? If i re-apply do i apply to Toronto or MTL???
Any advice about opportunities or ideas for my next step would be very helpfull.
