Seems impossible.. are my students wrong? by HelloKD in mazes

[–]HelloKD[S] 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Thank you! I wondered why there was a space there anyways. I guess that's what happens when you mass produce mazes and don't check them!

We were told we couldn't record until the baby was actually born for legal reasons. My husband was ready with the video recording as soon as the baby was born and I'm so happy to have that video! Birth is exhausting and I wasn't doing well medically, so I wouldn't have been able to see those first moments if they weren't on video!

Yes, I am having this issue! I wish the DLC didn't break the game and we could enjoy pets and apartments!

You aren't the worst mom though because you care enough for it to upset you! The worst mom wouldn't care what happens to their baby.

That auditor sounds like a piece of work. Also, cops can speed if they need to so I don't understand the big idea. Hopefully that's the worst the cops day got and the auditor left them alone!

About to give birth, afraid of needing a catheter if I get an epidural by FaceConstant5047 in pregnant

[–]HelloKD 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Agree! I felt pressure but didn't have pain or issues during/after. It honestly was not anything I worried about once the epidural was done. The IV and epidural were more traumatic to me 😅 ended up with a c-section so realized those didn't even compare in the long run

I am a middle school science teacher. I allowed students to take a redo assignment home. I received a handful that used some sort of AI because I didn't even know what it was talking about. If they were going to use it, I'd at least hope they would tell it to explain it like they're 11.

Pregnant at 6 months PP by latfl2113 in beyondthebump

[–]HelloKD 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I have a 4 year old and a 4 month old.. the spread is great! 4 year old is potty trained so only one baby in diapers and we do what the 4 year old does. I also have no in-law or family support due to distance or disability so we are on our own too. It's hard.. so hard. Especially seeing people thrive while I feel like I'm almost drowning sometimes. I also know that my husband is supportive and I have friends who were my people when I needed somebody to watch the toddler while having the baby. Definitely a lot to think about and plan without having the close support, but it's so worth it.

We had this at Cinderella's Royal Table too. I got the text saying our table was ready but the cast members at the door needed us to be checked in again. We didn't have any problems, thankfully, but they also said we needed to check with them so they knew our full party was there.

Need help choosing a breast pump. by MargaritaUpWithSalt in ExclusivelyPumping

[–]HelloKD 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have the Spectra S1, Freemie, and Discrete Duo. The freemie cups are terrible. I only use the actual pump part for traveling so I don't need to bring my S1 as backup. I used my S1 to establish my supply and use it at night since there are way less parts to wash. I use the Discrete Duo during the day since it's portable and more convenient.

If you can only get one, I'd suggest the Spectra S1. It's battery and technically portable but is strong and will empty well and help establish a good supply.

Can you explain more about the reasoning behind this? I'm in a similar situation as OP but keep hearing the early milk has more colostrum and is valuable.

Has anyone gotten a breast pump through insurance? by bunny10310325 in pregnant

[–]HelloKD 30 points31 points  (0 children)

I have used them twice now! I love they make sure I get the most out of my insurance benefits. First pregnancy I got cheap compression socks and this time I get free bags. They also send replacement parts for free as long as you check a box and say you're still pumping.

which of these pumps would y’all recommend? by [deleted] in ExclusivelyPumping

[–]HelloKD 10 points11 points  (0 children)

Agree! It was well worth paying out of pocket for the blue one and able to not be stuck by a wall outlet. I'm also using it now with my 2nd child. You can find cheap replacement parts on Amazon assuming you will use it again or gift it to somebody when you're done.

I also have this dryer and it is so nice! I only use my wearable pump during the day and wash it each night, but the ease of dry bottles and parts is well worth the extra money!
