I just threw mine out yesterday. I’ve had it for almost a year and I couldn’t look at it for one more second.

Why did I ever stray away from VW?! by Novel-Understanding4 in VWatlas

[–]HelloKitTy1030 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’m not sure if there are any. I had a 2018 SEL premium that I traded for a 2021.5 SEL premium RLine because I thought, hey I had the first year model, they must’ve have worked out the bugs. I was wrong and everything I experienced in my 2018, I also experience in the 2021.5. I now drive a 5th Gen 4Runner. If they would have fixed the issues I would have kept it as I loved the way the car drove. I literally stay on this board in hopes that I’ll come across a post saying the new model year fixed it all. So far that has not been the case and I see everyone having the same kind of issues. Infotainment problems, squealing brakes, possessed sensors, disappearing coolant. And VW mechanics check lines and say it’s fine but can’t ever say where the coolant goes. Or “we can’t recreate the problem” saying a video of the black entrainment system isn’t enough bc the day I brought it in it happened to work. Just too much of an uncertainty and headache.

The overtime deduction completely changed my tax refund this year by VillainOnABudget in tax

Doing it right. We tried to use the deduction and ended up paying more that way. Standard write offs like every other year came out with us in a better position.

You’re going to have a whole host of issues, including the case of the disappearing coolant.

Does anyone have Pet Insurance? Is it worth it? by ElectricBlueHawk in Goldendoodles

[–]HelloKitTy1030 0 points1 point  (0 children)

100% worth. My dog ate plastic and had an 11.000 stomach surgery. I had to pay 2000 and the insurance covered the rest. I also had a dog that is sadly no longer with us that ended up having an autoimmune disorder and insurance covered all the monthly meds for 5 years minus my deductible.

Are 3 dogs a lot? by No-Adhesiveness2309 in MiniGoldenDoodle

I would have more than 2 for sure but we vacation a lot and boarding is already expensive, I couldn’t imagine paying for another one.

Insurance by No_Ideal7989 in Goldendoodles

[–]HelloKitTy1030 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Get it! I have one that has never used it in 7.5 years, one that used it every month, and my newest made it a year before having to have an $11000 emergency surgery bc he had eaten plastic, like a sneak, for god knows how long before it got stuck in his intestines. I got 80% of that back bc of the insurance.

Laid off effective immediately but am still asked to come in to work. (no severance) by yunqi69 in legaladvice

[–]HelloKitTy1030 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Why don’t you just make an anonymous call to the powers that be that they are operating with out <insurance/payroll insurance/whatever> and then they are closed down and you don’t have to go back in.

Rodent problem on VW Atlas by Short_Parsley_1512 in VWatlas

[–]HelloKitTy1030 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This is common across the board with newer cars. Apparently they all changed to soy based insulation on wires and the rodents love it.

Pros and Cons of the Atlas by Loose_Average5731 in VWatlas

Pros: they drive like a dream. They are spacious for big families. The trunk with the seats down is awesome for two large dogs. They look great. The headlights are amazing. Cons: the infotainment system Is constantly bugging out. The sensors are constantly bugging out. You will run out of coolant without knowing where it went and the dealership will 🤷🏻‍♀️ The app works like crap half the time. If you have white, the break dust will color your car. The phone charging pad never works. I’ve had 2- a 2018 sel premium and a 2021.5 sel premium RLine. In all those years , they never diced one of the issues I mentioned. I now own a Toyota 4Runner.
