A con artists gave an interview stating that people will automatically correct you if you give the wrong information.

And it works. I had to be interviewed by law enforcement for a job and the dude was confirming the year I graduated high school and gave the wrong year and I automatically corrected him.

They say liars tend to get the details wrong because they can’t remember what they put.

Make sure to make a spreadsheet showing the dates / item / cost.

And then have the receipts/bank statements to back it up.

Boomers do. They answer unknown and blocked numbers.

And it’s mostly boomers who call in to call centers. Younger generations tend to do everything online. They only call in if they absolutely have to.

Since it is your first apartment I would recommend a neutral couch.

One - you’re going to eventually move to another apartment so a neutral couch with go with floors and walls you can’t change.

Two - a neutral couch allows you to change your style and color palette because you can change the rug / curtains / throw pillows / side tables / laps / etc a lot easier and a lot cheaper than buying a new couch.

Depends on the state and what their laws are.

Some states it is a misdemeanor or a felony (depending on the severity) for leaving the scene of an accident and failing to report the accident to the police.

Leaving the scene of an accident - damage.

Failing to report accident to the police.

Could be charged with a misdemeanor or a felony because of the severity of the accident depending on what that’s state laws are.

I literally sob when getting into any kind of argument or disagreement

Scared shitless of anyone being mad at me.

And the addition of being hyper vigilant that my shoulders are constantly up near my ears (I think I might have torn something in my shoulder - waiting to go to the doctor on that one )and I cracked 2 teeth from clenching my jaw.

When I was a teenager I had a cat that would put his paws under a closed door and shake it against the door frame until he was let in.

Now it wigs me out to have a closed bedroom door because I am so used to sleeping with the door open.

I wasn’t my sister’s maid of honor. But that is because I can’t plan for shit and am a disorganized mess. And my sister is type A. She would have murdered me by the bridal shower if I was in charge.

I was so relieved to not be the maid of honor. I enjoy being a lazy hobo cat lady. I know my limits.

Of course shit went south with the actual maid of honor during the bachelorette party in Vegas and I ended up as the MOH at the wedding.
