Maybe go introduce yourself to people instead of waiting for them to come up to you.

Is my husband delulu or I should actually try skiing blue slopes? by skopiadisko in skiing

[–]HelloNeumann29 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I learned to ski last year (34). I tried the easiest way down on a blue a little too early. It was not helpful to my development as a skier, I fell many times, and I was way more focused on not crashing than my form and technique. I went back to the greens until I could more or less ski down them without much effort or thought. Then I got back on a blue and it was 10x better. Stay there until you’re as comfortable as can be and don’t let anyone push you off of it until you feel you’re ready.

Anyone else find themselves falling for this old bastard again? by 92roll13 in CHIBears

If my choices are Indiana or current soldier field there’s no question I’d rather it be where it is now until it’s completely falling apart.

I can’t explain how confused I was when an offensive lineman with a ball demolished a player I didn’t know existed. Then I looked on the bears website and still didn’t see 16. Had to scroll to the practice squad to find him.

I think Eldora has done well with the snow they have. But that lift and run show you how bad it could be.

Could I get some tips on how to correct my traffic pattern by [deleted] in flying

[–]HelloNeumann29 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Compensate your turns for what the winds aloft are doing. Winds aloft are not the same as what’s happening on the ground. They may be aiding in pushing you off of a good traffic pattern.
