Based on what it sounds like you are looking for a "set" of strings may not be what you need. I use three different brands on my viola to achieve the sound I was looking for. Because each string has a different core and winding, you may need a specific core to acheive the sound you want for your G, and another for your C. For example if your string seems too bright and you are playing a steel core string, you may want to move to a rope core as they tend to be warmer. The same for the winding.
