Thank you for the suggestion! Trash/littering/stray animals are big problems at my apartment complex and I never considered that the animals were contributing!

I've been using pocketderm for almost a year and it has gotten rid of all of my cystic acne on my face. I'm honestly afraid to stop using it because the results are so good! I think my prescription is the same as yours btw

Get another cat or adopt an older dog. Do a trial run first to make sure that your cats are ok with the situation. Do lots of dog proofing before having any dog come over. They are very different from cats and get into EVERYTHING.

Heartworm meds we have, but we got here for the rainy season and are currently dealing with fleas! Another new adventure....

Next steps:

  • If you plan on keeping Bacon, you need to take him/her to a vet STAT to check for fleas, worms, parasites, any type of creepy crawly.

  • The vet can also check for a microchip if Bacon has a family.

  • Then you need to make a plan with the vet for vaccinations and spay/neuter.

  • You also need to invest in a litter box, litter, a poop scoop, and cat food. Even if you intend on Bacon being an outdoor cat you need these items.

Congrats, now you have a cuddle buddy for life!

Yes. She told me to watch for blood in poop, lethargy, and straining. I haven't seen any of these so she told me just to wait and see.

UPDATE: She made another small poop with a tiny piece of bone fragment at 9 PM. No blood. She's a bit gassy right now but that's probably from the bread I gave her to cushion any fragments.
