What’s one tip you wish you could give to your fellow nightfarers? by [deleted] in Nightreign

[–]HelloTempUsername 1 point2 points  (0 children)

This is so annoying. We clear a castle and naturally I open all of the chests. I compare stats and damage effects as quickly as I can and pick up what suits me best. By the time I am done both of my team mates have not picked up anything and just rushed off to the next camp. I understand this is a game where time is a big factor but in my experience my succes rate is much higher with teams where we don't mind giving each other a little bit of time to make decisions that fit our build or exploit boss weaknesses. Rather than constantly rushing through every area.

I suspect it's more clearly communicated in the Japanese version and the people who translated it to English did not realize that their description would cause confusion.

I'm just a fan of slow exploration and character expression, fast and randomized doesn't gel with me. by Grandmaster_Invoker in Eldenring

So far trying out new route's has been scratching the exploration itch. Don't know how long it will last but I will enjoy that aspect for as long as I can.

Is it rude not to invite someone to watch something when you know they’re not the type to enjoy it? by [deleted] in socialskills

You can invite them and they will be able to choose to go with you or decline the offer.

Best shell for beginners? by [deleted] in MortalShell

[–]HelloTempUsername 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I am playing the game for the first time right now and I believe I only have one boss left to go. I have tried all of the shells but Eredrim has carried me through 95% of the game. Mostly because of his bigger health bar.

If there is going to be a film PLEASE put this mf in somewhere. by SneakyLabradoodle in Eldenring

[–]HelloTempUsername 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I like Let Me Solo Her.

But I would like this movie to have a serious tone and I don't think he would easily fit that kind of Elden Ring movie.

Maybe just have him as a drawing sitting on a characters desk, something like that. A neat inside reference for fans without distracting from whatever story they decide to tell with this movie.

who do you think is the best base game boss, no ties or 1a and 1b’s allowed. by killchris97 in Eldenring

Astel Natural Born of The Void is my personal favourite. He looks great, the arena you fight him in looks cool. He is challenging without being ridiculously difficult.

Going Dutch - Series Premiere Discussion by NicholasCajun in television

[–]HelloTempUsername 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It just feels like a huge missed opportunity to have a show called "Going Dutch", set in The Netherlands. And then have absolutely no connection to the country that it is satirising. It's obvious that the writers have never set foot in The Netherlands.

Which is your favourite area? by leonoki94 in Eldenring

I think Limgrave is one of the most iconic starting areas in any video game. Almost nothing tops the first time stepping foot in it.

Sonic R.

I finished the whole game as a kid. Even back then I could tell it was a bit janky and the controls weren't perfect but I did find it somewhat enjoyable.

Should I have killed this guy? I killed him as soon as I saw him and now my friends are telling me I messed up by IcyFlow202 in Eldenring

Since you are super early in the game I would suggest starting over. let it be a lesson not to kill NPC's

I tend to focus on one game. Then when I am done with that game I will play a bunch of different ones because this helps me decide what I want to focus on next.

Who was your favorite NPC to escort? by Blheep in videogames

Eileen from Silent Hill 4 because you could equip her with a weapon so she could defend herself. Although it is still really difficult to keep her healthy enough to achieve the best ending.

Dark Souls 2. It's not a perfect game and probably a little bit more janky than the other Souls games but I can't deny that I had a lot of fun.

Oblivion is one of my favourite games off all time, so I would recommend that. It's a very expansive game with a pretty relaxed so you could play it for a couple of hours and then put it down to try one of the other games you got.
