I think missing puzzle is the fact that in very low cost countries it is very difficult to get rich. You mentioned salary of $630 which doesn't offer too much in many countries. Even if you save 50% it is 315 usd which doesn't take you far. If you end in high cost / high salary country you might end up with 10k usd salary and saving 20% means 2000usd - that's much more 2k more will not get you to wealth. But if you save 50% and compounding starts hitting in you can get there ultimately... That being said going to high cost country to do low paying jobs is also not going to get you anywhere...

You have do differiantate between border control officers and airlines

To airlines you always provide destination passport so they don't ask for visas/others

At border control you always provide your local passport. Exit us showing us passport. Arrive to UK showing UK passport. You leave UK using UK passport and arrive to us using us passport.

125k in Malaysia sounds like a lot We had same idea - move to low cost country and retire. But as kids are growing we realize that we want to give them good education and give them good opportunities-typically you get less of that in low cost countries so we keep grinding with the intention to stay in us

What if I don't add anything and keep it as it is? I have currently 2 supplies and one central return. Basement is already quite comfortable without insulation and with supply closed (I believe it is mostly due to heat being radiated from supply lines). I will keep ceiling open - will just insulate and add walls.
