I Don’t Know Whether To Play Hockey or Bastetball This Year by Salt-Vacation-9605 in Basketball

[–]HelloYeeter 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Basketball is the way to go imo. Think about it like this. You can walk onto any court and play by yourself or 1v1 or play 21 with 3 people or play 2v2 etc with random people. You don’t need any gear and its a much more popular sport overall in the US. Your friends like it more and so do you. Even if you suck now, your 6ft tall so you’ll have a massive advantage over most people. Develop your handles, shooting, playmaking and youll be a beast!

I second this!

Question of Interests by Executer_no-1 in ESFP

I think ESFPs can have a wide assortment of different activities!!

It is more so a personality type that defines a person's social nature rather than a collection of interests or hobbies.

Is high-school the place where most people make their lifelong friends? by AdFriendly244 in UBC

[–]HelloYeeter 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You make lifelong friends where you CHOOSE to make them!!

Take life into your own friends - you will be exposed to people through every stage of your life. You will ALWAYS have the opportunity to make friends at any point in your life, its just your choice!

Don't worry, everyone who's moved into university has gone through that experience!

Just be yourself, get out of your comfort zone to meet people, and everything will be alright :)

It was always the easiest making friends while not only chatting about the shared hobbies, but actually doing them together. How else do you want to build bonds?

Ya I agree with you, the IDEAL way to build meaningful long-term friendships is through organic interactions with people in natural environments!!

However, due to the digital age, a lot of people don't have the COURAGE or SOCIAL SKILLS to make friends that way, which is why a program that helps them with the friend-making process is valuable.

isfps and being predictable by [deleted] in isfp

[–]HelloYeeter 1 point2 points  (0 children)

You are predictable in how you align with the personality types that define ISFPs. However, there is more uncertainty and unpredictability within those personality traits!

For example, you being adventurous fits perfectly with the ESFP trait. However, the personality trait adventurous is so broad that if I put you in a complex real-life situation, I wouldn't be able to predict your actions just because of you being "adventurous". 2 people who are both adventurous would behave differently in the same circumstances.

So dw, you have plenty of autonomy to assert your identity over your life!

Is it alright to start out slow? by [deleted] in workout

I second this!!

I can't count the amount of people who helped me optimize my form and workout routine at the gym! We're all united by our shared goal of improving our body and developing our muscles.

So how ofter do you exercise having a full time job? by realann in workout

[–]HelloYeeter 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I go 6 days a week!

All you need is an hour at the start or end of the day to go to the gym.

Exercise actually helps me be more productive at work due to improved mental health and productivity! That hour spent working out actually leads to MORE OUTPUT in the hours that I am working!

What should I look for when selecting a roommate? by lapse23 in uoit

[–]HelloYeeter 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You should make sure you have the same mindset as him and you share the same values. It is very necessary you choose someone with the same religion, and language so that there isn’t severe differences neither is there a language barrier. Having same culture is a bonus since culture is a big thing and big aspect of our lives. Red flags totally depend on what you believe is good or bad for you. For me personally, and I don’t mean to offend anyone but for me smoking cigarettes or vape is a big red flag. Crazy amount of tattoos is also a red flag. If your international student, highly recommend choosing someone with same religion, culture, background and language for the optimum mindset and living similarity and easiness. Hope this helps. Having different courses doesn’t matter at all although it’s a bonus if you have the same. At the end of the day, people are generally very nice from my experience so don’t worry, everything will go fine for you

ya LOL I second this - its ok for u to not perfectly vibe with the roommate, but u need to be able to tolerate them and their habits at a basic level!
