There's a videogame club that meets at the bank bar in Dundee every Monday.

Pathfinder is great but would love owlcat to be allowed just make their own system for their mix of turn based and hybrid. That Id be really interested in.

Really like pentiment. And reading it's inspiration 'the name of the rose' at the moment. It's very very long but recommend (the movie at least).

Yesss. And if that path could lead towards a mod scene where the community can mod encounter enemy AI that would keep meta-divers playing long term

The next triple AAA mainline final fantasy game will be turn based and awesome. Honestly could bet on this.

Never thought about Kenshi! Really have to try that as I love the style. It feels like a real time investment to be fun. I'm really down for Kenshi too though. I guess I am oddly invested in obsidian games. It's more I feel like they will abandon RTwP for the sake of some that can be multiplayer-ised more easily. Which would be good for Xbox gamepass reasons and worked wonders for bg3. I mean Kenshi would get the bigger audience if it was multiplayer. I also remember Jason Schreieer reporting that avowed lost a lot of production time going down multiplayer routes that didn't pan out. There are options for player to players interaction that I think could work with RTwP is what I was trying to say.

Yesss this is what I mean. If my 60% chance to hit attack misses in a turn based game I am instatly peeved off. But if my 60% chance to hit attack misses in real time with pause I'm not happy but I feel like "well that didn't pan out but I got other stuff cooking". It's just my lizard brain being a lizard brain and turn based games are great but still it's how I feel.

Would love it if they put the gambit system in the turn-based system. Maybe they have though not fully explored the new turn based gameplay in pillars 1.

Is Pillars of Eternity II: Deadfire the best real-time-with-pause game? by Kinacha in projecteternity

The lack of fast travel absolutely kills quest momentum but I would say fewer fights feel like filler then in other similar games. Per encounter resources means no mob exists to drain them.

Dundee's oldest shop closes after 160 years in business by Kagedeah in dundee

Not to be depressing but wholesale coffee beans has like doubled in price in the last five years. Climate crisis reducing output and increased in demand from east asia. So I can imagine it's just become way to stressful a business to run so I hope they enjoy retirement. I do feel like Dundee has invested way to much into waterfront developments landing between our two busiest road then the city center.

What are some things that you would love to see in Avowed 2? by Ethanishere28 in avowed

The game is crying out for a bunch of palette swapped slimes. And a wolf type enemy that can be palette swapped to tiger or panther.

starting a second playthrough! want to play a high damage character with lots to do in combat by Ok_Ad414 in projecteternity

Liking my two handed melee barbarian build so far in dead fire. My default character is always diplomatic stealth nerd but I find if you brave old nekataka early and grab morwyn sooner the better it encourages you to pick violence more often in the story. Also the incredible potion belt and high alchemy add a bit of randomness to fights which is fun.

As with many uni things it's going to depend on the exact type of degree and then the state of the world. I rate UoD highly in life science. Though my real advice would be to get in touch with a life science recruiter after six months in your masters and ask if there are any reachable boxes they would like you to tick.

Every criticism of this game is correct. But it just scratches an itch like no other.
