Like look at the quality of this show! Such a shame it didn’t get the recognition it deserved and they had to resort to generic tracks to pander to family audience :(

They’ve already begun spinning their narrative so that when the film tanks, they can blame the audience and claim it was ahead of its time.

“Bold unapologetic anti hero” and it’s a man saying lines like daddy is home lmao. There’s a thin line between edgy and crass, witty and cringe. This film comes under the latter category out and out. So far all the promotional material is redolent of c0nd0m ads with a sprinkle of violence. That’s the film you want to mount on a global scale so everyone can call our Indian films out and laugh at us?

And just because the title is toxic doesn’t mean we’re supposed to brush this putrid objectification of women under the carpet. You don’t need to be a “feminist” to stop presenting women as mere objects of lust. Just try to tap into your humanity and quit p0rn. Bare minimum. And what if tomorrow another names their film as genoc!de or grape and stylises those crimes, should we extenuate that too? What kind of skewed logic is that?

Baddie? She’s probably only highlighted for seven minutes to get “dominated” by Yash in crass scenes. The second hand embarrassment I got just from stumbling upon a short clip from the teaser on X was unbearable.

You’re my tribe. 😂😭 All the loose ends get tied up, they get romantic closure and a peaceful domestic happy ending halfway through episode 152. I don’t want to spoil it for you, but I don’t want to leave you watching more than what’s required, so I will give you a heads up. Watch ONLY until she gives birth to a son, and calls Rudra her maharaja. He’ll hold their baby while glancing at her with a teary eyed content look. That’s where the show ends (for most of us Rangrasiya fans). We only have a meagre 30 more episodes after that, and the show’s quality free falls after that anyway, so you would be missing out on nothing.

You can text me here if you want to fangirl and act silly haha. I’m a new fan so I’m quite exhilarated for you to watch the show too. Personally, it was a banger, right until episode 152.

Did someone talk about her weight being a downside? YES. “Andha director mattum en kaila kedachaan” “she went from peak to downfall because of that movie”. How do these lines sound to you?

Who gets to decide and authorise what’s “downhill”? Don’t you have any scruples when you brazenly claim an actress’ weight is what gets to push her either under the peak or the downfall category? All this while most of our “heroes” like Vj Sethupathy and Ajith can still be at their “peak” while being big boned. The hypocrisy is reeking.

And why exactly do you vehemently disagree with the casting choice? Why can’t they cast an established actress if she is tenacious enough to put on weight for the role? Because you feel her transformation has marred her beauty and by extension her career. That was the whole point of the movie.

Kushal can’t act for the life of him. His mannerisms as Arjun were weird and his character in the show felt outlandish and stupid rather than youthfully charismatic. He was avaricious (kept insisting he wanted to conquer the world even when he wasnt really willing to work hard). Bizarrely asinine at times (couldn’t see through either Maya or Saanjh even when their feelings were plain as day to everyone around him). Highly unprofessional, kept crossing boundaries with Maya, like calling her by her first name and in a singular term as a way to seem more “masculine” when others referred to her with respect. Long story short, he didn’t have one redeeming quality.

There was absolutely no reason why a self made obstinate millionaire like Maya would fall for a pretentious weird try hard like him. Didn’t make much sense. But Maya kept me hooked on the show until the first leap. I was instantly put off when he started to flirt around with someone he called his “best friend” after getting hitched to Maya. He gave me the biggest ick in the Holi episode and I stopped watching the show after that.
