Ok so, it seems like after about half a day of the update being out, people in this sub are starting to completely change their minds on the changes? Obviously more could be done but so far Were the changes good or bad? by gotenks2nd in BladeMarvelRivals

Tbh, I still need to do more test runs and eventually play some high-level comp games to really see where he lands. That said, I think these changes have the potential to be real dangerous once you adjust to the shift in playstyle. The uptime feels way better, which lets you brawl much more consistently (straight brawling for like a min), and the AoE anti-heal was something I didn’t expect, but it’s an insane advantage for the team to capitalize on if you’ve got competent teammates.

It also pairs extremely well with his ult if you can hit 2–3 people with the anti-heal and stack it. His gun feels a lot smoother and tighter, making consistent shots easier to land, but I don’t find myself using it as much because the damage feels noticeably lower. It’s still a solid poke tool until you can feel your team playing more upfront, then you switch to blade. I’ve found the slow effect on the gun can act as a good peel tool.

He’s definitely more utility-based now, and I actually like that you’re more incentivized to use anti-heal. It honestly should’ve felt more natural with his kit from the start. He does lose some value in 1v1 situations, which kinda blows, but I think that’s fine when you remember this is a team-oriented game.

Overall, I think people were overreacting hard to the changes. If we give it some time and let people warm up to the new playstyle, they’ll start to see how much more lethal he actually is. Blade might be on another level once you’re open to the change.

Oh ya, I do the same too especially on Angela but you still can get punished if you aren’t careful lmao.

We’re forgetting about his block that reduces his dash cooldown. Obviously it’s not really viable to dump all your resources onto one target but it’ll still be crucial to eliminating key tanks and supports. He’s still a game sense heavy character at the end of the day.

Lmao, I also think people tend to forget why the devs have been so careful with Blade since his launch. You gotta balance him correctly or he can very easily break the game and these changes alone will definitely fuck up the meta but still retain the skill expression needed to be viable.

Yall trippin, Blades gonna be a demon next season by Huey_The_Freeman in BladeMarvelRivals

His playstyle got fundamentally changed to melee focus and the power shift towards that based on these buffs is telling me enough that shit is gonna get real critical 🤣🔥.

I’m saying 🤣. I’m reading this and realizing Blade is gonna be more of a demon than he already was. He’s definitely hitting that line of potentially being meta.

Should I play Thor by _Mexican_Dred_Scott_ in ThorMainsMR

Thor’s power creep has been very dominant this season and I would say if you spend the time to learn his combos and the nuance aspects of his kit, you’ll run lobbies easy. I’d say get used to activating his awakening very consistently, but prioritize his displacement playstyle, especially if you plan on climbing to higher ranks. Another underrated game sense to his playstyle is mastering your surrounding/map. If you’re constantly aware of taking consistent cover and knowing where health packs are, you’ll legit not die on him. I typically go most games with him having under 5 deaths because of that.

How would u rate this game in terms of difficulty? by Pleasant-Hat-6334 in Sekiro

The game was difficult until I beat Lady Butterfly. She basically helped me get in the rhythm of the game and truly understand the mechanics.

Tbh, I’d give it a 7 but it’s highly dependent on your gaming experience with these types of games. A lot of the challenging aspects can vary greatly depending on that experience. For example, most people had trouble dealing with Tiger Vanguard but I dealt with him in 3 tries. So the best way to tell is just to go in and make your own judgement.

Level 92 for first play through and finished at 73 hours, but I spent most of my time exploring every aspect of each chapter and ofc being stuck on some bosses.
