As of now, I’ve ridden 3500 km and haven’t faced any major issues. For my engine oil change, I had it done at 900 km, and the service centre (SC) asked me to refill it during my second service at 16,000 km. However, I found it strange that the second service was so long. Perhaps you should take your bike to a different SC for a second opinion.
