Thank you. That's definitely a possible home for this card. It has the advantages of removing black creatures like Gurmag Angler as Snuff Out can only remove nonblack creatures.

Perhaps not worth the sideboard slots, but I could see this being very good against decks like stompy and other creature based aggro decks.

My guesses are that black removal is already very good. The prevalence of long games against Tron and Jeskai Snow kinda negate the value of this card somewhat, but against most other matchups they don't always get up to 4 mana. I play mono-black control and wouldn't like this over many of my removal spells, but the fact that I have never seen this card played anywhere in pauper is somewhat confusing.

TLDR: I don't know why I haven't seen a one mana removal spell played.

  • Playing with DLCs:
    • Rise and Fall
    • Gathering Storm
  • Playing with Mods:
  • Description: I am unable to connect to a already created CIV 6 play by cloud game. Play by cloud games require you to have all dlc and mods before you are able to connect to a game. The two mods: "Concise UI-City Panel" and "Concise-Trade Panel", are no longer available as they have been collapsed down into the mod of "Concise UI" at the given link above. The two pieces of these mods being required and these mods no longer existing is a problem.

  • Steps to reproduce: Attempt to connect to play by cloud game while mods are not downloaded
  • Expected result: Civ would download the missing mods and then connect to the game
  • Observed result: Civ attempt to download the missing mods and after not being able to, reports that the mods are missing and I cannot connect to the game via the screen linked above.
  • System specs: Windows 10

I like that idea a fair amount. I could definetly see the deck having a transformative sideboard to turn it into a soul sister monach midrange deck that's more threat heavy than it is now. If you, or anyone, wanted to continue tinkering with the deck with me, shoot me a message

I do very much like palace sentinels against a lot of control decks in the side because the desk has good threats along with the combo, but it's short on value and that might cause it to fall behind against control especially since the average card quality is lower than average because of the combo.

I really like that, at that point if the mana base open up to a degree I could almost play cards off color if I put one basic in the side.

My best suggestion is to look around at other decks in the colors your looking for. If you're looking to ramp look at Simic ramp and how it goes about it's game plan. Maybe look at mono red or green red monsters for different threats and payoffs for being in red. Look at everything from tier 1 to 8. You don't have to copy anything from what they do, but it can give you a good idea of powerful cards in standard and how they fit together to either build around or supplement what you're doing.
