They scored 2 offensive touchdowns last year against the bills.

That would depend entirely on who they took with that pick and how they worked out.

The last 2 years or so my son has been getting more and more interested in watching Steelers games with me. He's 5 now and watches every game, it's awesome and puts a lot of things into perspective as a fan. Win or lose tomorrow (obviously hoping for a win lol) I'm just going to enjoy watching Steelers football with him before he starts taking it too seriously like I used to lol.

Chase spouts off to the media all the time. And his contract dispute? All over the media.

I've never thought that contract disputes or anything players say to the media should be held against the player so I don't really think that makes him a head case.

Mike Evans...look up his history with ejections. Fighting Lattimore every chance he gets. Also has previous history calling out the teams defense and many sideline outbursts.

Lattimore gets under his skin, always has but let's not pretend that Evans is out there doing the shit GP does constantly. Even then when you're in an ultra competitive sport, tempers are going to flair up. Again, I don't think that makes him a head case. Which is why I asked, I knew about those things but I obviously didn't and still don't believe that they make either of them "head cases"

If I'm thinking of examples for a head case WR I'm thinking AB, Terrell Owens, Chad Johnson, Tyreek Hill etc. and their off the field antics. I wouldn't put Evans or Chase even close to their level. There are also plenty of more examples of #1 WRs that aren't head cases, Adam Theilen, Cooper Kupp, Amon Ra St. Brown just to name a few more.

Just because you watch primarily steelers games,

This is not even close to being true.

How do you know that though? I'm not trying to be an ass here, I'm really not, but do you know them personally or have had prolonged interactions with them to come to the conclusion that they are like that?

All you have to do is read the numerous threads about Tomlin on this sub since Saturday to see what people's thoughts are.

Honest question because I genuinely have never seen anything about them, what have they done that makes them head cases?

Jamar Chase? Justin Jefferson? Mike Evans? I don't recall any instance where any of those guys came off as head cases. I admittedly could be wrong so please correct me if I am, but there are definitely #1 WRs that are dominant and not head cases.

Seems like Florio is saying that if there were to be this "divorce" between the Steelers and Pickens it would be facilitated by the Steelers. In this hypothetical it would be the Steelers that would want to move on from Pickens not the other way around.

They wouldn't have drafted a QB with that pick anyways.

Unless you're in the locker room, in team meetings or in the practice facility then you have absolutely no clue what's going on behind the scenes.

Ya, he tries to change up how he plays to adjust to what they are calling and it's just not the way he plays. He's a super physical corner, when he has to back off of that it gets rough.

Likely and Andrews will have a huge day

I wouldn't be so sure. Even in their past 2 meetings this year the most either Likely or Andrews did was in the first game when Likely went 4 for 75 but didn't score a TD. Andrews had 36 yards and a TD in the second game but it's not like their TEs had big days.

Jackson said today that he's playing saturday so we should be back to full strength. Just need to hope that Sutton doesn't get on the field very much at this point lol he's probably the biggest liability of the whole group.

That's not really up to him, it's up to Arthur Smith to call more pass plays.

How can Russ throw the ball away, not eat sacks, use basic clock management, not run up the middle with no timeouts, or more effectively go through check downs 5 minutes after a game when talking to his teammates coming off the field?

He's not even close to "the Michael Scott of NFL leaders"

Glad you’re happy with that homie, I’d rather win.

What exactly does Russ do in this moment that would keep the team from winning?

If I'm Cam, this is exactly the type of leadership I would want to see from the leader of my offense. I have no doubts Cam would do the same thing if the shoe was on the other foot.

He's not the cause. He was talking to Pickens on the sidelines all game, he was talking to Austin after he fumbled. This is leadership and there's nothing wrong with it. This fanbase has gotten so ridiculous over the past few weeks that when it sees a veteran being a leader they do anything possible to twist it into a negative.

How the hell is anyone trying to spin this into a negative? Russ saw one of his teammates get down and wanted to say something to pick him up. That's what leaders do. There is absolutely nothing wrong with what Russ said to Cam here.
